If Scoot can't hit a three then be like Brandon Roy and get a mid range jumper. You don't always have to sprint at the rim. If all you are is a threat at the rim. Then they are just sitting back just waiting for you.

I know this is off topic but has anyone noticed the way the NBA is inflating it’s in attendance percentage and tv ratings? They reported this game as sold out with 100% attendance and 19,464 people attending, anyone watching this game knows that’s 100% BS. They also claim TV ratings are at an all time high yet they haven’t had an NBA regular season game exceed more than 2 million views in almost a decade and most areas like Portland make it difficult for the average fan to watch. There’s something real fishy about all of these inflated numbers right before a new media deal.

Orlando's 102 is a little skewed. ORL was up double digits, and burned clock in the final 3 minutes. Didn't aggressively finish the game.

Portland did not want to draft Scoot. If they did why would they make a highly edited video of his work out with them before the draft!? The guy has bust written all over him. Looks like a Markelle Fultz or a Sexton type player to me
What is more frustrating is reading Blazer's fans comments. Fareweather fans, or people writing just to get replies. Yeah, they lost, yeah, could have won, but it was a step in the right direction. I saw improvments from the last game. I said this on here before, stop putting so much faith in a 19 year old. He will make mistakes, but you know what, at least he sees his issues and is trying to address them. People just need to calm the hell down. Camara, might not have a good stat line, but he did so many good little things on the floor.

It is strange and mysterious the best player on the team is out for a month+ temporarily putting the fire out on the guard minutes controversy. Seems like a legit injury although nobody saw it happpen. Longterm still not enough minutes for shae and ant if scoot is getting all the burn-in.

There should be a balance between the three and interior scoring, “3 and D” is over-rated. When Scoot figures out that his drives will open up scoring opportunities for the shooters, he’ll be the asset that this team can use to create chaos with the opposition.
Three-point defense is token and passive, but driving into the jaws of the paint will draw fouls and put the opposition into foul trouble, aka Kevin Johnson and Rod Strickland.

As a Magic fan, don't beat yourself up over Mo Wagner. He randomly torches defenses pretty frequently.
