Still waiting to see the great shooting that Jabari was supposed to bring out of Auburn. Missing a last second 3 is one thing but choking on the free throw line and getting smoked consistently on defense while still clanking open jump shots the entire game is getting old.
Let Alpi cook! That boy was dominant on the post, both attacking and dishing. Jalen started off hot with the mid range jumper, good to see. Jabari hasn't found his rhythm yet. Brooks couldn't shoot but he was a dog on defense. 10/20 free throws ~ embarassing. Too many turnovers but better than game 1 for sure. Locked Wembo down for the most part

Fred doesnt even want Jabari for screens, he always calling Alp. People were worried about Alp's condition, now im really worried about Alp's condition. Because he does everything. Points, rebounds, assists, defensive effort, screens. 41 min non stop, So proud of him!
How do we feel about Boban getting significant minutes this game? I was surprised to see him in there.

You also need to mention more about the free throws. The rockets are missing a lot of free throws. This is really crucial down the stretch.

sengun needs more cuts from his team mates, i hope he wont miss kmj too much. you could see his frustration when he got double triple teamed an no one was cutting, some of his turnovers are because of this.

this team needs a backup center for alpi, landale was 3th option in phoenix, they used more biyombo over him. i think detroit have 2 centers in the bench that could give this team more help.
Jabari smith is a criminal
We're a small team. Not only short, but we're frail. Tari is the only dog in our young core right now. Yeah we got some toughness, in our second unit ( tate and uncle jeff) but those are supplementary minutes. Bari is one of my favorite guys, and i thought his growth was gonna be the catalyst that propelled us into respectability. Frankly, its just not there. Amen is realizing the league is REAL. Deer in the headlights. Alpi, Fred and Dillon can have good games and we're still gonna lose. Until, at least, one of Jalen, Bari or Amen becomes SPECIAL ( not just decent), we're gonna struggle with our current setup.
Jalen just doesn't have that alpha "I'll carry my team on my back" mentality. This is why we have to chill on the Ant Edwards/D-Book comparisons. At best I see him as a #2 & don't see him as a lead dog.
