Just gonna use this thread to say his defense is noticeably improved over the summer and it is translating to the regular season thus far. We’ll need to see how he holds up against certain matchups but so far so good. That says a lot about where he’s headed. Next up is adding more variety to his scoring arsenal and extending his range.
I’m also betting his usage gets scaled up over time as Ime accepts that he is our best option on offense. Curious to see what steps he takes during that process because as far as I’m concerned the difference between jokic lite and jokic is the scalability of the scoring efficiency and playmaking. Can he score 30 efficiently? Can he get you 10+ assists? Remains to be seen, but at least his improvement on defense keeps him on the floor now.
