This franchise is embarrassing. The likes of Poole, Kuz, and such are treated like superstars, no culture at all.
It’s embarrassing how every average inefficient scorer plays like he’s bigger than the franchise, and everybody, front office to coaching stuff to players, all just obey. You just need to show up to the Wizards and act like you own this team, if you’re aggressive enough you’ll get to toss 20+ shots every night. You can be called Spencer Dinwiddie for all that matters and somehow be an undeniable number one option.
Yes, it’s only the beginning of the season, but it’s continuous effort to stay bad. I wish I could have find any comfort in winning or tanking, but no matter what, Wizards are gonna do it wrong.
This franchise actually glorify mediocrity.

Corey Kispert is the best player on the Washington Wizards and I’m tired of acting like he isn’t.
Kuzma didn’t see a shot he didn’t like
As glad as I am to be in rebuild mode, I’ll always take pleasure in an opportunity to sleep in the Wizards bed.
I know JJJ is trash at rebounding because even Gafford obliterated him on the boards tonight
I can already tell I’m going to be sick of Poole by Thanksgiving.

Something we’re going to have to get used to as the franchise is rebuilding, Poole and his poor shot selection and head scratching turnovers.
The plan is that as the team gets better over the course of time, he will also get smarter with the ball.

Did anyone else see Gafford getting visibly pissed off when going against JJJ? I swear I’ve never seen him not smile as much as this game.

The fanbase knew Poole and Kuz would be getting 20+ shots per game but when it actually HAPPENS, some of y’all are upset? Lol
Don’t get weird. This was the plan, ALL along.
I feel like we woulda lost the game with the teams of the previous 2 years. Didn’t look great down the stretch but they didn’t collapse!
Just wanna shout out the defense of Deni and Gaff in the first half, specifically against Bane. He ended up with a good Stateline somehow but he could barely lift a shot up in that first half, either Deni smothered him while he was still thinking about it or Gaff met him at the rim. Was really fun to watch imo.
Fun to get the win, but I already can’t stand Poole, which is unfortunate. All time bad confidence versus production ratio.
Just have to remember that the team is supposed to bad, and is not a team trying desperately to be good but still being bad.
So, championship parade when?
