Really happy to see what Oubre is bringing to the team. He shoots when he’s open, drives when it’s possible, and often cuts to the basket to be available

Offensively he is doing what we always hoped Harris would do. For a min contract that’s an amazing value

  2. ArroganceIsPotent

Feel like oubre is being used perfectly so far, bench isn’t as terrible as im used to it being

  3. Prestigious-Rock201

This is one of the best sixers offenses I’ve watched in my life

  4. Harden might have to come off the bench and run the 2nd unit. This is Maxey’s team now.

  5. Swerve to any pundit who said we should trade Maxey over the past few seasons. It was never homerism; unlike the weird infatuation some had (still have!?) with Bassey and Isaiah Joe, Maxey has always been the real deal. Trade that bearded bum so we can complete the team and make an honest to god run this year.

Darryl better be making them calls to Chicago. 50 piece from Lavine in a 16 point loss to the Pistons and their 20 year olds lol. I think we should keep Harden at bay but we can’t keep up excuses to not have him play for too long

  7. Wakandaforever456

This Sixers team looks very dangerous. Embiid is Embiid, Maxey is going to be an ALL STAR while Oubre looks like sixth man of the year.

  8. CPTHoagie

Embiid obviously had some atrocious passing moments but its clear he’s made an effort to improve his playmaking and hit cutters now. He’ll have some bonehead passes as he navigates more of what he should and shouldn’t do and progress won’t be linear but he has 14+ assists thru 2 games. Also crazy how Embiid was out of shape but after a whopping 1 game was in shape….almost like people just cry and whine whenever the sixers are losing.

  9. BassGuru82

Maxey has definitely taken another leap, both in scoring and passing. 65 points, 15 assists, and only 1 turnover in 2 games is phenomenal.

  10. the feeds from embiid to oubre for late game scoring were so nice. loving what i’m seeing

  11. CPTHoagie

Also didn’t mention Maxey, because what more needs to be said. He’s the franchise and as Embiid starts to slow down in a couple of years I expect Maxey to become the guy. Also if Maxey is really a 25/7/5 60% TS+ guy Embiid will have no plans to want out.

  12. BassGuru82

Only thing I didn’t like about tonight’s game was the lack of Jaden Springer. He needs to be getting more minutes than House and Green.

  13. I’m starting to become a big fan of Debbie John, for keeping that whiny woman’s bike in her garage all those years.

  14. Harden was holding Maxey back.

Shouts to Oubre. A dunker in the dunker spot, brilliant

    1X4 the Mo Speights reference

  15. Patient_Jicama_4217

K9 is looking good out there for us, hopefully he can keep it up

  16. Philly-lifegoeson

Maxey has 1 turnover in 2 games as the point.

  17. BerzeliusWindrip

I love maxey like a son, yet he is my father.

  18. battletor7

I really hope lavine will be available. Sixers need to do anything they can to add him to this team. He is younger athletic guard who is legit capable of giving you 40+ and creating his own shot. If we can move tobias and harden to somehow get him, that would be the dream scenario

  19. icewill36

im starting to get concerned about melton. he’s continued his abysmal play from last year’s post season.

  20. Jo averaging 7 assists in his first two games. Love to see it.

  21. stsimonoftrento

Shoutout to Nick Nurse for giving pj only 21 minutes

  22. Im not so much looking for wins and losses this year. I’m looking to see if the style that Nick Nurse is building can eventually lead to winning basketball in the playoffs. Can he grow Maxey? Can he develop a system for a franchise that has had no identity for 2 decades?

  23. Its so nice to finally have a coach that puts his players in the best position to succeed.

  24. aspiringplebeian

Is there any path to package Melton and Harden for Lavine? That’s our hole right now, Maxey is showing he can competently play the point. Another shooter/scorer to stretch is exactly what Embiid needs. A starting five of Maxey, Lavine, Oubre, Harris, and Embiid looks significantly more competitive now than it did at the beginning of the season.

  25. GOAT_Redditor

    * Oubre is a legit 6th man
    * We will probably trade Melton at some point this season
    * Maxey and Embiid is maybe unfortunately too good of a duo to blow it up with
