The way Boston played us in that situation by not giving permission for a physical was weird af.

He played the most professional / polished out of all blazers on wed night too. He would be great off the bench or in for russ to close tight games. Love russ, but in playoffs games the ball shouldnt be in his hands in the final 2-3 minutes of a close game.

He’s gonna be available at the deadline. Depending on how good this team is by then I could very much see us going all in-ish on a deal for both Grant and Brogdon, shipping out Mook, Norm, Kobe, Amir and picks. I don’t think Brogdon being a Clipper at some point is dead on arrival

Luckily this trade didn’t have to happen for Mook not to get minutes. I like our guard rotation as is.

Honestly wouldnât mind him over norm in our team so that we have another guy who can flourish in the pg position. But also wonât be mad if we keep norm as he will no doubt find his form at some point

Brogdan for Mook + #30 + Coffey (salary filler otherwise the lux hit would be nuts) would’ve balanced the roster magnificently.
C – Zubac, Plumlee PF- RoCo, Batum, KMJ, Diabate SF- Kawhi, Mann, Boston Jr SG- PG13, Bones, Powell PG- Westy, Brogdan, Bones
PG13 or Kawhi can log in some smallball PF against small teams to give the bench more run
When the deal fell through, i was pissed, cuz i wanted to get rid of Mook so badly and Clips tend to whiff on their late FRPs, so not much of a loss there.
