  1. Yea I’m starting to think masai will trade pascal at the deadline for picks or good role players

  2. larrylegend1990

Yeah he is. Doesnt make sense to tank since we want Spurs to get the pick this year, but Id consider trading Siakam

For once I think it’s a consensus. No one can say Pascal is better. Scottie played like a first option tonight and it was glorious.

  4. It’s time we have a serious convo about siakam man this dude is straight up garbage

  5. He is so beyond the other players on this team it is almost unreal watching him play tbh

Scottie is good and so is Pascal no need to trash him. Each game this season acottyie has gotten better and better. Gradey played well tonight too and GTJ is always better when he starts.

I think by mid-year it will be clear that Pascal is not going to make alll-nba which hopefully will make him more open to sognong and extension with another team and thus more tradeable

Scottie Barnes and OG the new face of the Raptors

  8. you cant decide who the best player is after 3 games lol

If only someone could have known by last season’s deadline that he was the future and it was time to start building a team to his strengths. If only someone could have had that foresight. The team could be rebuilding with the wind at their back right now. A shame that the future is so unknowable, I guess.

I fear what will happen when Scottie has a bad stretch of games like last year lol. Hopefully, it doesn’t happen.

As long as Pascal is here we need to figure out something to do with him on offense, even to just raise his value.

  12. Siakam is still our best player… he’s just not fitting into the system and he’s struggling to find his place in an offense that is clearly designed for Scottie…the writing is on the wall

I think Scottie is clearly evolving quickly and his ceiling is obviously higher than Siakam’s but Siakam is a 2x All NBA player…you can’t just throw away an entire career over 3 games

I think Siakam will get moved this season but it’s not because he’s a bad player, it’s because Scottie is clearly the future and we need to start building around him with player that compliment him, and I’m not sure that Scottie and Siakam can co-exist

I’m not sure how fun this season will be tbh, but if Scotty takes that next step it will be a successful season

  14. Scottie has looked amazing, definitely the best player so far but I think we need to pump the brakes on the Siakam slander.

Yes he’s been struggling to find and make shots (37%) in the new offense, but he hasn’t been killing the flow looking for his own shots. It seems like he’s bought in on both ends, his defense and defensive effort has looked better than it has in years.

It’ll take time for Siakam to adjust to his new role, and for Darko to figure out how to best utilize him. Personally I think whenever Scottie goes to the bench we should keep Siakam out there to run the second unit. The offense has struggled when Scottie sits plus it’s an easy way to get our second best offensive player some extra looks. At the very least it helps his trade value if they can’t figure out how to use him optimally with Scottie

The front office needs to finally go all in on the rebuild. Trade Pascal and OG for young players and draft capital. And Gary Trent Jr. too cause he’s just way too streaky but some contender will want to add shooting in February.

Build a core around Scottie and find players that fit alongside him.

We’ll see if Gradey is a part of that core, I have high hopes for him and believe he will be. He looked great tonight, he needs more minutes to get more used to the NBA pace and just make those growing pain mistakes rookies need to make to learn.
