Damn, the way they talk about Jerry and how nothing will change no matter what makes me want to give up as a fan. It's such a depressing truth to accept.
They sure have short term memory. That is what bothers me. You lose at home at the opener. You fight to win yesterday. Today, it was a standing party. They let the pistons go inside over and over. No offensive rebounds. It was a hard watch.
The problem is they keep saying continuity but the key piece in LONZO BALL AINT COMIN THROUGH THAT DOOR!! Its clear that Lonzo was the only thing that made this core work and now that hes gone there is no reason to keep preaching continuity unless they expect Coby to take that playmaking leap and we all know he not doing that. Preparing for another 80 games of no identity
Id rather have the bulls do what they are doing now, than do what the sixers did with the whole trust the process thing. You have to build and continue to establish a culture. To do that…u need to maintain continuity within the roster. I think the first step for change is trading derozen for some much needed floor spacing. If u can get a star out of that deal, then do it. Then I would extend Patrick Williams. And no offense to Lonzo, but I would trade him, so that what if cloud isn't in the organization anymore.
I said it the first game they ran the same play damn near all game long and someone said no they ran other plays. If you know X’s and O’s you know they have no plays in the book to get guys to their spots. It’s like they’re a college team amongst pros
Id call golden State and see if they'd be willing to trade klay for derozen, along with some draft capital. If u can get Moses moody in that deal,too, then I'd say do it. Golden State would have another legitimate superstar. Klay on the bulls would bring a championship mentality, another wing along with some much needed floor spacing.

None of the Bulls youngsters have any upside. DeRozan will need to be traded. Patrick Williams will be on another team next offseason.
