Game Recap: Hornets 116, Hawks 110



The Hornets defeated the Hawks, 116-110. P.J. Washington led all scorers with 25 points as Terry Rozier (24 points, six assists, five rebounds) and LaMelo Ball (15 points, 10 assists, six rebounds) totaled 39 points in the win. Rookie Brandon Miller put together 13 points, three rebounds, and two assists in his debut. Trae Young led the Hawks with 23 points and nine assists while Jalen Johnson put up a career-high 21 points, along with seven rebounds in the loss.

  1. Solid performance by the Hornets. However, the amount of lost ball possessions is something that needs to be looked into by the coach.

  2. Insofar as Bogdan, one of the best European players, keeps warming up the bench – the Hawks will be hawky. When Bogdan was a starter and was playing 35 minutes a game – they reached the conference semi-final/final. But the hawky coach is stubbornly cocky. Poor guy.
