    If the Lions and Pistons (both young teams) can continue to win Downtown Detroit, and the city as a whole, is gonna be lit!

    I was ripping this team in the off-season but I love being wrong when it comes to the Pistons. So far this just looks like a different team. I know it’s only 3 games but the offense has a continuity to it that we haven’t seen in years. They’re moving the ball with fluidity, guys are setting good screens and are moving very well without the ball. It’s leading to high percentage shots and the Pistons have been capitalizing on those opportunities. It doesn’t take heroic efforts from certain guys to get a win. Everyone just seems to understand his role and each man is thriving in his own way. Cade and Duren look like they have great chances to be all stars this year. Cade is doing what we all expected but his 3 point shot has such good arch on it now and it’s added an element to his game we haven’t seen before. And not only has Duren improved with his scoring down low, but his defense looks ions better and I’m extremely impressed with passing ability. It’s not just that he’s getting assists but he’s making great feeds to the open man. His basketball IQ is incredible for a teenager. Ausar may be struggling with the shot but his impact on the game is unbelievable. His defense, play making and rebounding are opening up the court for everyone else around him. When his shots start to fall he’s gonna be a SERIOUS two-way problem out there. Stew has also been very solid so far and has clearly taken a step forward. And the bench is no longer human garbage. Ivey is still raw but he brings instant energy. I gotta admit I like him off the bench so far. Burks has been lights out from 3, and Bagley has been tremendous in his minutes. And we also have to be proud of the way they’re defending. In all 3 games so far the Pistons’ defense has been phenomenal. They shut down Charlotte last night and if not for Lavine making some ridiculously tough shots tonight the Bulls probably fail to score 90. And if not for all the turnovers in game 1, Miami doesn’t crack 100 and the Pistons probably win. I know it’s still early so I’m not gonna go TOO crazy but I really like what I’ve seen so far out of these boys.

    Duren is an all-star this year. Double double and is a sneaky great passer as well.

    Duren Stew and Thompson are giving us the defense we need, and Cade Duren and Burks providing that offense, this team might be contender for the 8 seed!

    Please turn off this crappy music, or at least turn it way down. It almost completely ruins the viewing experience.

    In about two years we will definitely be a title contender I guarantee it!!! Just look at the pieces we have with our team. We got some real hoopers and a great coach all we need to do is build up that chemistry and make sure that our bench depth is good enough to keep points on the board when our starters are resting
