The Detroit Pistons Have A New STAR DUO…

Welcome to another night in the NBA. This is your 10 minute recap of the last night of NBA Hoops. The main story of the night: The Detroit Pistons have a new star duo in Cade Cunningham and Jalen Duren. JD looks like the next superstar big man, and finished with 23 points, 15 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 blocks. He’s now averaging 18 points, 15 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 blocks per game through 3 games this season. He’s only 19 years old. Cade Cunningham dropped 25 points and 10 assists in their victory over the Bulls, after he dropped 30 points in their season opener. These two both look like obvious future all-stars, and both will have an argument this season if their numbers keep up where they are. They outrebounded the Bulls by 21, and are just an elite rebounding team with Duren, Isaiah Stewart and Ausar Thompson. They’re going to be a lot better than people expect. Zach LaVine dropped 51 for the Bulls and they still lost by 16.

Other action from around the league:
76ers 114 – 107 Raptors (Embiid 34p, 9r, 8a. Barnes 24p, 8r)
Pacers 125 – 113 Cavs (Haliburton 21p, 13a. Mobley 33p, 14r)
Wizards 113 – 106 Grizzlies (Kuzma 21p, 13r. Bane 26p)
Pelicans 96 – 87 Knicks (Ingram 26p, 7r. Robinson 8p, 15r)
T-Wolves 106 – 90 Heat (Reid 25p, 8r. Herro 22p)

Think about subbing, I’m on the road to 12k!!!

  1. Duren is a monster definitely a potential top 1 big soon .. let’s not over look Assur Thompson he looks like a young Scottie pippen out there. When he polish up his offense to match his lockdown defense he could be a top 10 player as well.. we have a young trio as long as jaden Ivey and beef stew as the anchor.

  2. Detroit could compete for home court advantage in the first round of the playoffs this season. I believe they can be a top 4 seed in the tournament all I'm really worried about is Milwaukee, and Boston because they have so much fire power, but this is a future NBA Championship team that will dominate like we used to.

  3. The fact that Duran is so good at that age is crazy. If we can get ivey to shape up detroit will be in the playoffs for sure

  4. Jalen Duren is impressive. He dominates on both sides of the court and just seems to know how to be in the right place at critical moments. He’s the center that we were hoping Wiseman would become. A great draft pick!

  5. as bad as bulls played they were only down 6 in the 4th. absolute potato defense whole team collapsing every single play got 5 dudes trying to stop the drive lol no communication. and vucevic is an absolute slug getting back on d and a hack. its not going to be that easy against a team with decent defense and a real bench. he had 14 against the hornet big boys. not bad. he def rebounds good. ya pistons look iight.

  6. The Pistons may have let Lavine get 51 points, but he had 0 assists. Played the "you can't beat me alone" defense and it worked.

  7. This Pistons team reminds me of the 04 Pistons era team before they got Rasheed Wallace..

Interesting.. on the 20th anniversary the Pistons are looking like the 2003-04 Pistons..🤔

I guess history does kinda repeat itself in a way eh?😉

  8. Cool video bud. I like your demeanor and objectivity, you don’t try and act like you know more than the coaches or the players

  9. I said before season Jalen duren will be mip with 16-14-3asst-2.5 BLK so far he showing it love stew and how he plays but think he better as 6th man back up 4-5 say trade wiseman sassor bojan two seconds 2029 first and two pick swaps for pascal from Toronto

  10. I just discovered your channel sir, but I appreciate your words about my Pistons. You have a new subscriber.

  11. I questioned Monty’s decision at first benching Ivey but it’s genius he basically has two starting 5 lineups and it keeps the team from falling into droughts on offense
