Welp. On to the next one…

SGA is going to get a tonne of hate for this performance, hopefully it sparks something and we go on a run with all these home games coming up.

  2. amari_prince

Well we have another shot tomorrow! (Cries)

  3. Rockstar408

Look that wasn’t great, but it happens. The Nuggets are incredible and we weren’t up for it today.

Shai was awful, worst game from him in a long time but he’ll do what superstars do and bounce back quick.

Let’s not get down on this one, still an incredible season ahead.

  4. lmaoooyikes

Shai and Giddey (didn’t play as badly as Shai but still) have to be better if we want to compete with great teams

Hoping for a bounce back against the Pistons tomorrow

  5. Powerful-Ride-3728

Can anyone confirm about a possible injury to shais hand?

  6. ManBearPig1869

Not much to say, reigning champs aren’t gonna roll over. Learning game for us, hopefully tomorrow will be a confidence builder.

  7. The Nugs brought their A game, and after two good games shooting wise the Thunder couldn’t buy a bucket. It happens. This Denver team is incredible and when they can’t miss there’s not a lot of teams that can hang with them. Onto the next one.

  8. Either_Opening_41

I really want Tre to shine on other team. He’s still potential.

  9. DefiniteSauce12

An outsider, but Chet has all nba 1st team potential

  10. Nuggets shot 60/40/84
    Thunder shot 41/19/83
Seemed like everyone on the thunder was in a shooting slump unfortunately. It happens. Gotta bounce back

  11. MediumOtter

Shai had a streak of 37 straight games with 20+ points.

Shai had a streak of 75 straight games with 10+ points scored.

Time to start some new streaks tomorrow.

  12. Headlesshorsman02

Well lads a learning lesson, and we keep moving

  13. revisioncloud

We looked like a tanking team vs Denver my goodness they’re just really really good no excuses

  14. Nuggets are just too good, not much OKC can do against such a bad matchup for them.

  15. Shai played like shit he needs to step up and and start passing the ball more

  16. Nuggets fans kid wouldn’t stop kicking my seat the entire game, and we lost by 30, but TTFU anyways lol. Happy to have been at the home season opener nonetheless

  17. Aggressive_Slice4620

We got our ass handed to us and they look like they weren’t even trying. Regardless this a good learning experience for us if they dont let it shook their confidence.

    The Bad:
Chet got eaten alive by Jokic but that is what to be expected. Still need more experience and strength to at the very least bother Jokic.

SGA had an offnight and Denver’s defence really did a fantastic job defending every drive. They didn’t give him a semblance of a free basket.

We got out rebounded hard. We missed a lot more shots so it is to be expected that they get more rebound but a 48 to 29 was brutal.

This game shows that we badly need that secondary scoring option . Someone that can carry the load when SGA has an offnight like today. Hopefully jdub can grow in to this.

    The Good:
Cason Wallace was really good for us.

  18. mido0o0o

SGA looked like he was cursed tonight! Very easy buckets didn’t fall

  19. GunstarGreen

Chalk it up to experience and move on. They’re the best team in the league and we had a miserable shooting night. It happens.

  20. Big_East_Cat

Couldn’t watch the game. Just saw the box score. Oof. SGA had 7? Wtf happened? Was he injured?

  21. ahrumah

Anyone who thinks JWill or Kenrich would have solved our size problem today is delusional. I love Chet, I think he’s transformational for this roster. But he just doesn’t have the strength to body dudes down low. Barring the acquisition of a thicker big to help, we’re gonna have to out scheme and out score against the teams that can punish us.

  22. Wisesize

Not great, but not concerned with the 3rd game of the season against the champs. I think big man depth hurt and everyone shot poorly. We don’t need Poku and Dieng…and the little bit of Poku looked very bad. I’m not call that “rust”. He shouldnt be getting mins. if he’s going to continue to play the outside at his size. Mann should get some more 2nd team mins, please.

  23. Kevinator01

tbh we didnt even play that poorly. We had so many open 3s that just bricked, while Denver, MPJ especially hit everything. 82 games, bound to happen sometimes.

  24. sportsfanatic09

Man J Dub with 9 shots today. He needs to be more aggressive.

  25. laidbacklurk223

Sad we lost, but happy we had this reality check to calm down the media overhyping us. Thunder Up!!

  26. darkknight_178

Clearly not a playoff team yet – we need a legit superstar, not Harden 2.0 who disappears when he can’t hunt for fouls. If getting outplayed by Brooks in Team Canada was not enough, a rookie is outplaying him right now

  27. Oldmanmarley

This isn’t the end of the world or our season, we had a bad game against a really good team. The bucks are losing by 30 to the hawks. It happens.
