They didn’t want to see any Jabari hate. Well to bad, that dude is soft as dog shit.

Im hurt rn not gonna lie. I was hyped for this year and so far its been a let down. I know its only 3 games. I like what sengun is doing.

I hate losing to the warriors so much, so my misery is compounded =[

if Steph doesn’t go nuclear, we probably win. Effort was strong to get back into it and chemistry is building for sure, onto the next

Can’t believe people really thought FVV and Brooks would make us a playoff team

We look the exact same as last year, gonna need to get lucky just to win 30 games

I hate being 0-3 but did like the intensity spurts they had in this one.

No no no, Jalen Green is on track to be the next Devin Booker, really!

Not sure that my Rockets fandom can take a loss to Charlotte on Wednesday ngl

Add in Eason and Landale for these 3 games and we might be 2-1.

Of course the Spurs fall back down to earth after playing us.

Team is so bad even the Reddit mods can’t be bothered to make 2 posts every other day. Maybe do some recruiting brother so we can vent in a timely manner. Like it’s Reddit just make 5 random people mods who cares

This was really Brooks’ best game in actually playing his role so far. He got so many good looks for his teammates that he was taking himself in earlier games.

  12. I don’t understand why Jabari doesn’t punish players in the midrange with his height and length. So many times he would post someone down only to pass it back out to the perimeter. He clearly doesn’t have reliable range from 3, but seemingly forces himself to only shoot that shot.

I know it’s counter-intuitive but I think our Alpi initiated offense is holding back Jalen and Jabari. Ime should consider running more lineups with Jalen and Jabari without Sengun. Jalen and especially Jabari are rhythm players. They need to touch the ball and create for themselves to get into rhythm, feel the ball and play well. They are not going to play well just spacing out waiting for Sengun to hit them for an open 3 three. Jalen is not Murray and Jabari is not MPJ. Rockets are not built for Nuggets type offense.

Over the 2 seasons, Sengun playing well has not really corelated with Rockets winning. The Senhub experiment when KPJ was out looked good because Sengun was generating a lot of open threes but all of those games were losses cause no one was hitting the open shots because no one was in rhythm. Rockets tended to win when Jalen or Jabari played well. Jabari looked his best playing at the 5. Surprising number of Ws from last season were when Sengun was injured or played a limited role.

All this is to say that the way the Rockets roster is constructed atm is doing a disservice to both Sengun and Jalen/jabari. Sengun needs shooters, Jalen/Jabari need to initiate and be more actively involved to play well. Rockets need to decide which direction they want to go soon cause this three, despite our hopes, do not complement each other well enough.

Tate is going to get a healthy portion of minutes if he keeps playing like he did tonight. 🩸
