Really nice game from tobi, fuck it let’s turn harden into the best possible role players we can and see what we have.
I’m back in
join me
No joke
We could see Embiid DPoY + MVP and Maxey All-Star + MIP
Looks like we moved on from Tisse at the right time.
Maxey is getting to free throw is arguably as important as his PG skill development
Regardless of whether the team is better with or without Harden, one thing is undeniable. They are so much more fun to watch again without Harden’s boring iso centric bullshit.
Amazing what a new coach can do
Bruh dame had 6 points in 29 mins against the hawks in a loss tn… Why couldn’t that be us lol
Our D looks great, we’re moving the ball offensively, we’re aggressively fighting for boards, our coach is calling timeout at the right time and making adjustments. I’m not saying we’re winning it all but it looks like we’re going to have some fun.
I think the blazers are going to be bad. Taking care of business.
I gotta admit this team is coming together faster than I thought it would.
Glenn truly is the world’s greatest basketball terrorist.
This is the best sixers team I’ve ever watched. Stay away James you aren’t needed

Team and LEAGUE leader for 3PT%? FURKAN KORKMAZ.
Amy Fadool just said “thrust the process” YES
embiid passing game is very exciting
This is Joel’s team and everyone else is a distant second
Nick Nurse has turned around the sixers. Sixers are the 2nd best team in the east
One thing that already got me back on board is Embiid attacking, not settling for a million mid range shots, and not calling for the ball and trying to post up from the top of the key.
Coupled by the fact that Maxey is a sexy bitch and Oubre might turn out to be one of the best free agents signings when most people though it was a joke of a consolation prize… I’m kind of on board. Just need to get rid of the massive joke that is still on the team. Move on from that as quickly as possible and allow this team to gel without distraction. If Morey can’t realize that the best thing for this team right now is just to move on, then Morey need to go cause he clearly isn’t in this for the city.
Bucks should be 0-2 lolll.
Clippers after tonight go on a rough stretch.
Magic, lakers, @knicks, @nets @mavs, grizzlies, @nuggets
The price for Harden is about to go up
Yeah, the Blazers are terrible, but the Sixers plane didn’t get in until 1 a.m. following the first of an international b2b. Plus, how many games SHOULD the Sixers have blown out against terrible opponents last year for them to win by less than ten and have to use their starters for far too long? It felt like all the time.
coming back to admit that i was being a doomer the other night. really like what i’ve seen so far (small sample size ik). hope this continues
Give Pat Bev minutes to Jaden Springer. Or at least half of it. I WANNA SEE MORE SPRINGER BLOCKS!
I’m sure there’s some X’s & O’s I’m unaware of, but this team looks better because Nurse has them hustling and every open man has a green light to shoot.
* Embiid needs to continue to attack the rim, drawing fouls the hard way and putting defenders on their heels.
* Maxey’s handles are elite now, so you can play him at PG without getting turnovers.
* Pat Bev is the fire that this team needed.
* Springer is replacing the perimeter defense that Matisse gave you last year.
Shout out to Melton for playing his role well and being a solid secondary playmaker
Just saw an ad for the in season tournament. It would definitely be the most Sixers thing ever to win that and then get bounced in the 2nd round
Didnt watch the game but is maxey injured?
Not having to play Niang, who can’t do anything besides shoot is such an underrated bonus. I’m pretty sure he had 1 rebound the entire Boston series, if not the entire playoffs.
it’s just nice seeing the team actually play basketball and not iso ball. they didn’t all work but the ball movement was generally good and guys are getting easy open looks way more instead of having to struggle for 23.9 seconds for every contested 2
Including playoffs Sixers are 45-21 when Tobias scores 24 or more
This roster is not contending level but they are a much more enjoyable watch than last year. It’s so important to nail the Harden trade bc if the right pieces are added, i think they jump right back into that contending convo. Nurse is that huge of an upgrade
In other news Tobias should be sending Van fleet a” thanks homie” card. Someone finally has a worse contract. Muahahahahs!!!
The Josh Harris US pro sports portfolio went 2-1 today, and it would have been greedy for Philadelphia to also have the Devils lose.
Truly do not think this team needs Harden if they continue to play the way they have these first three.
Thybulle was nice enough to revert to his Sixers form.
Maxey is a legit all star now.
Aside from the awesome play, me not even thinking about a 34-year-old man baby until I noticed the post about the Athletic saying he was going to attend, feels great.
The cutting off the ball……just so incredibly refreshing to watch.
I see Matisse took the summer to really improve his game lol
Tobi redemption arc this season is looking nice
Underrated part of getting Pat Bev is him barking which rotations to make offensively and defensively. He’s literally directing and sometimes physically pushing guys to where they should be on the floor. He was pushing Tobias Harris from behind to get to the dunker’s spot in one play because they were too close together and no one was at the corner. It’s crazy how he doesn’t over commit on closeouts and how he is somehow always there to contest a shot at the rim even when he should expect a big to be behind him to pick up the ballhandler. He got 3 blocks just on good rotation. We’re so starved of competent role players that this seems extra ordinary to me.
