  1. A win !!! They just got too hyper too fast at times and lost the ball too many times.. but a win is a win !🎉

  2. Its nice to have a PG with some quickness and athleticism. I love FVV but it just seemed like he was weighing the team down sometimes. Its refreshing to have a new coach, and a new system. If this team can stay healthy, theres a lot of potential.

  3. Great way to start the season. I don't have high expectations, but it's already less painful than the last couple of years where they were on the losing end more often than not in these tight ones

  4. Nice to get a win on opening night. Raps are definitely a work in progress looking to add pieces as they continue to build. Gonna be an interesting year.

  5. Coming into the season, it's the Raptors team with the biggest question marks in quite a while. Some sites even ranking us as low as 14th. But what a great initial showing! Darko seems to have revitalized the team, and Shroeder is thriving in a larger role. Keep it rolling.

  6. There’s no doubt the Raptors won their 2023–24 regular-season opener. That said, scoring under 100 points is a troubling sign, something I hope doesn’t continue. President Ujiri and GM Webster bet on a successful season for the Raptors although hopefully both executives will lose their jobs should the Raptors‘ last game of the current season come before a conference semifinal. After all, who wants a repeat of the historic playoff series win drought of the Leafs (18 seasons)? That is the question every member of the Board of MLSE (with that corporation also the owner of the Leafs) should ask himself or herself should this Raptors’ season end without a conference semifinal appearance. Realistically, I predict the Raptors will find it difficult to win a playoff series with this roster.
