at the 6 min mark Mavs down by 5. Nets shooting lights out and our defense has Maxi & Powell inside. Bring back FSmith he is so much better than Williams and Green on the Def side and very close on the O side. Green seems to be rushing everything, close outs he's leaving his feet pretty regularly and on the O side he attacks and jumps off the floor with no idea what to do. Great energy but almost needs to slow himself down and play a little more under control. Williams is doing the little things but part of our Big 3??? Early but not yet. We throw THJ for taking really bad shots but with out his points Mavs are 0-2, not 2-0. Maxi has terrible hands, Jones not doing what he needs to do. Curry great shooter but doesn't seem to be able to get himself open. Kidd why you didn't play Lively?? Thank goodness for Luka to all the haters, just watch the last 2 games. He is a stone cold baller when the game is on the line. Would have had another triple double if wide open 3's had been hit when he was doubled. Gotta get better on the wings and rim protector. Kudos to Powell for playing so well on the O side. Capala & OG sure would help.

It’s pretty clear to me that Tim isn’t playing with the team, he’s intentionally playing to advertise to his next destination. He’s mentally and emotionally disconnected from us, and that’s fine bc we did it to him and I still want him gone
You can bet on the come if you want.. “Ky WILL wake up; Josh WILL be more consistent; Luka won’t have to carry” but looks like to me we’re going to struggle to get there first, and it’s going to get ugly before we have a break through. I bet on reality, not optimism
This game was fun! I'd probably think differently if there hadn't been that ridiculous bank shot three, but it's moments like this that make the game fun. So sad there are some fans expecting midseason form from the coach and team at the beginning of the season, so much so that a 2-0 start equates to doom and gloom. All these negative Nancys ruin the fun of the journey.
It’s crazy to be so critical of a team this early in the season. Cohesion is developed not automatic. Your frustrations are frustrating. Watch and appreciate development!!! Please!!!
the mavs can't be just "luka magic", the team HAS to show up. It's not fair, and when they start loosing it will still be blamed on Luka "ballhogging". Are we in for another year of his body melting down from carrying? The Mavs don't deserve such talent, he deserves to play with better players, and have fun in deep playoffs runs every year. That team needs a clear system offense, and get rid of any player who can't/don't want to execute it. I'm tired as a fan to see 1 player waiting for others to figure it out, they are supposed to be pros. At some point you need elite role players if you want a championship, not a bunch of projects. Josh is in year 4, he cant be a project, how many time does he lead a fastbreak and stops to look behind and pass, what is that??? Rugby? Just go score!!! And I'm sorry, but Josh's confidence is his own to find, not for others to hand it to him.
