I am trying to stay positive, but it just feels like this organization treats the regular season like the preseason.
This past Finals run was amazing and ‘Heat Culture’ is all fine and good, but there’s a point where you’re just sipping your own Kool-Aid and eventually your hubris will bite you in the butt.
Throughout last season, I thought the 2023 offseason would be the “wake-up call” for the front office. However, the Finals run seems to have had the opposite effect and washed away any potential lessons learned from a sub-par regular season.

Four games in and a third of the roster is down already jfc. The team loves to brag about the hard practices they do, esp in preseason. Which seems great in practice, except that so many of our players are injured or banged up all the time and these things are probably related.
