    Absolutely not. Hardy is very valuable and has a lot of potential in the coming years. He was pretty efficient as a starter last szn and even off the bench he’s effective. Mind you it’s only been 2 games so far and this could change very quickly. Good as a backup PG/SG but Jason Kidd does need to figure his rotations fast. Trades should be made with Hardaway and maybe Powell but they should keep Hardy around for a while and he could be the next future star once Luka is done and or retires but that’s a long way from now.

    Trade hardy and klber for a real big man that can protect the paint until lively gets there

    The Mavs absolutely should trade him, i already thought they waited a bit long by not trading him this off-season. With ky and Luka long term on the mavs, Hardys best case on the mavericks is being a spark plug 0ff the bench and that is usually a quite replacable role. Hardy is a ball dominant, score first guard and we already have Luka and Ky who can both fill that role. off the ball, hardy seems very limited. I think Hardy has quite a bit of value and could net the mavs a 3xd wing, which could be even more relevant if the mavs continue their hot start and go into win now mode.

    Source for the Kyrie not playing news? No source has reported that and he is not listed on the injury report? And it seems like the Mavericks wouldn't share exclusive information with some random <25k YouTube channel. No offense to Mavericks Today

    green starts at 2 guard. Not, Kidd only like over 30 overrated, overpaid, injury riddled, washed up has Beens or never was. The great news is if Nico sticks to his guns and keeps all the kids and dumps all the senior citizens then when Kidd is sent packing, we will have a great team. and thank you dear lord these 2 have no input in trades they all suck for us, or they are scrubs.

    Hardy has/had an ankle injury. these guys are unreliable sometimes with their information. Hardy was a dnp-cd last game, but the first game he had an ankle injury.

    Hardaway and Holmes are expiring next year. They will get dealt this offseason if not by the TDL. Hardy not getting time is a problem but not a long term one. Dealing Hardy now could really come back to haunt us.

    This is why they should have found a way to make a deal when they were "At the Table' with either Capela or Ayton.
    It was obvious that THJ needed to be gone and to make way for the other SG's. 2nd rounders/pick swap or the 2027 first needed to be added to get it done.
    Ayton's contract in 3 years is gonna look good and Tradeable. Capella hopefully would be a back up here before then.
    What the HQ also had to do is value what they want more. The 1st in 2027 or Hardy. And then proceed accordingly. If it's the pick, Add Hardy to the deal(rather it's 3 team or just 2) if it's Hardy than add the pick.

    Problem is, they have to know what they got in order to correctly evaluate what to do. They obviously had no Clue to someone they saw every day in Jalen Brunson. A player they could have had for super cheap(13 a year) and decided they wanted to keep his trade option instead(which equaled out to Nothing/Nada/Zip/a Wasted Offseason)

    Plus THJ is THJ. He's showing the same streaky self. 1st quarter he is Great and very tradeable. The following 3, he is Horehounds and arguably the worst contract in the league.

    This team this year, might actually only go as far as Timmys Streaks allow them (in terms of winning or trading him).
    And that is not a position any HQ with their head on right, would put themselves in.

    I think you should trade Tim Hardaway Jr so Hardy gets those minutes, but if you not gonna trade THJ and give Seth Curry more minutes then yeah you ruining a great young talent and he definitely should be playing.
