Good points! Knicks are small and lack athleticism because of the coaching combos. A more imaginative coach could put a competitively tall team out there. Robinson Hartensteiin Randle Barrett and Grimes with the no d no pass pg coming off bench as a microwave. Grimes has Walt Frazier type pg possibilities.but miscast as a 2. Knicks brass will never see it. There r 15 teams bigger and more athletic than Knicks.

If only we had a player that brought both of these things to the team. Perhaps a 6’9” PF that could jump out of the building. Surely if the Knicks had a player that matched that description we wouldn’t do something stupid like trade him for peanuts right?

There’s a reason the Knicks signed DDV to a 4 year contract. The reality is Grimes is trade bait. If a big wing becomes available, Grimes would be that guy traded. DDV is insurance if Grimes is traded.
