Here is an After Timeout (ATO) play from the Washington Wizards game on October 28, 2023

Initial play is set up out of the Grizzlies’ 5-Out Stagger series. Here are some plays from 2022/23 using this initial set-up.

    [Clip One](https://streamable.com/fr09d9)

    [Clip Two](https://streamable.com/7fjk5a)

    [Clip Three](https://streamable.com/c48oh2)

    [Clip Four](https://streamable.com/xa4sjp)

    [Clip Five](https://streamable.com/48vlvz)

[Here’s a small breakdown of the various components of this specific ATO](https://streamable.com/ep0lwm)

    Personnel

    – Ziaire might be the only player on the team capable (with Clarke injured) capable of the touch screen and roll. Maybe Ja could do it when he’s back but might be too small.

    – Smart is not the best ball-handler in traffic but he runs the play perfectly on this ATO

    Scoring Options

    – Drive for Smart

    – Screen and roll for Ziaire

    – Exit screen for JJJ 3PA *OR* Exit slip from Tillman if the opposing team switches the screen/overplays

    – Back to the perimeter if the opposing team helps off the nail

[Here’s the same clip ATO from 2022/23 attacking the nail help](https://streamable.com/wcyf6s)

[This play is not out of the Stagger series but here is a look at how Memphis uses Exit screens. This should give a good idea of how Memphis could use JJJ in the original clip](https://streamable.com/umftyy) AND [here is how Memphis can attack over-help by having Clarke slip the screen (not Stagger but this is the clip I have)](https://streamable.com/jr5kn1)
