i think Matt was trying hard to stick with this team and might have over worked himself after practice depleating his energy for that last game.. shots dont fall right with ur tired. i used to be a shooter as well and i know for me, it did affect my shots. shooting is a rhythm thing and if my batteries are charged, my shots usually are good.
I like that Matt just seems to put his head down and is a hard worker. He seems to be a humble blue-collar guy and just wants to perform well at his craft. The kind of guy that will serve the locker room well.
