  1. Edwards was once again trying to do way too much. Terrible passes and getting himself into even more T.O.s over dribbling.

  2. Hawks managed to look disappointing to a real threat in less than a week. Let’s see if they can be consistent

  3. 79 points in the first half
There was a time when teams struggled to get 80 points in the entire game
Was crazy is the Timberwolves only scored 34 points in the second half

    That's less than half
    They played like the Braves
    3pt or bust

  4. The Hawks seriously need to close those gaps in their defense, we know how good their offense can be and if everything falls into place on that end as the season progresses (which I suspect it will) they will legitimately be one of the most lethal teams in the entire NBA but that doesn’t matter if they allow the same amount of points at the other end. It got painful to see such little effort to close spaces defensively. They need to rejuvenate some energy defensively bevause they have some spectacular two-way talents that are great on that side of the ball like Dejounte, Bogdanovic, Saddiq Bey, AJ Griffin, Jalen Johnson, not to mention Onyeka Okongwu and Clint Capela who are both more than capable of being the anchor of the defense and Okongwu specifically being very quick for his position making him super flexible and able to be put anywhere on the court. I just don’t see them actually wanting to put the effort in but I know that the talent for it is there. Actually credit to Dejounte for being very energetic defensively, his hustle is definitely seen and felt but the other guys need to step it up with him.

  5. 2:29 Commentators need to learn to do they’re homework before saying anything. Ant’s mom passed away. 🤦‍♂️ A similar thing happened with KPJ last season if I remember correctly
