Current Indiana Forward and former Knick, Obi Toppin recently sat down with Stefan Bondy of the NY Post in an exclusive interview to discuss his time with the Knicks and why he wasn’t able to develop the way he wanted in New York. Toppin mentioned that it was very difficult to grow under coach Thibodeau. Julius Randle also continues to add to his Knicks legacy. Troy Mahabir breaks all of this down!

The jury is still out…but 1thing i know for shore we need a power forward because julius can't do it by himself…and hart is undersize to play that position..

Obi is the one who asked for a trade, the Knicks didn't have a choice, he opted out of the team

Thibs puts a short lease on players he didn't want to begin with. This is the fault of the front office for the Obi situation. Grimes and IQ are perfect Thibs players and get all the burn.
Tibs has had this reputation in Chicago and Minnesota..I say fire tibs now get a younger coach before the whole team wants out.. Julius looks unhappy and quickley don't care …GO KNICKS
Pay attention. I'm not a thibs fan. Quickley developed. Grimes developed. He isn't a good substitution coach. That's a fact. But to believe that you only need to learn on court and not in practice is a problem. Practice is where repetition is developed. If you're not getting it there the odds of it translating to a game is not easy. That being said. Thibs still should've let him play more

Didn't Tibbs say he liked J. Simms during training camp? Now would be a good time to get him some time at the backup 4 . Let him learn, so the bench won't be 4 guards and a center. They will probably look to trade some players and draft picks, but they should be shopping for a coach or get an offensive assistant
FINALLY! I've been saying this for years. THIBS IS NOT A GOOD COACH AT ALL!
Randle does foolish stuff all game, trying to imitate LBJ with no handles or move to the basket & bad defense, but when Obi made ONE mistake he got pulled.
Hart will get hurt playing big. He is smaller than Obi, but they claimed Obi was too small.
Hart's intangibles will go away playing out of position just like Alec Burkes' did when made PG when we had a PG on the bench who is actually the best (or 2nd best) single on ball/wing defender on the team in McBride!
We will never win with Thibs or Randle.
