[Larsen] Okay my guess on Clippers/OKC, just putting it out there in case I’m right… OKC trades back the 2024 LAC 1st they already own (gets routed to PHI), but they get a not-very protected 2030 LAC 1st

If that’s it, that’s a huge dub lol. Trading a late pick in a bad draft for literally anything is a w.

  2. That’d be cool, but why wouldn’t the Sixers just take the ’30 pick. They’ll probably try to flip Tobi and the picks for something and it’s a more valuable trade chip.

Makes sense for the thunder but why wouldn’t the clippers just send that 2030 1st to the sixers anyways. Seems like a unnecessary extra step for them

  4. Doesn’t really make since for Philly to want a draft pick from a weak draft, especially one from a team that should be a playoff seed.

No way it’s the Clippers 2024 pick. That’s potentially already been traded (since they traded the worst of their four owned picks). It makes more sense for it to be the Sixers’ 2025 pick. Philly gets some insurance in case their plans fall apart and they have to blow up the roster this offseason. OKC gets a pick further in the future to keep spreading things out.
