Pistons got smacked up by the Oklahoma City Thunder. This while not surprising does hurt a bit as I feel Detroit could have made a run to make this game more competitive and potentially win it bit it just wasn’t meant to be. Shai gilgeous-alexander couldn’t be stopped and showed why he is one of the best players in the NBA. Chet Holmgren and Josh Giddey did their thing as well. Detroit Pistons may be exciting to watch again but OKC is what we hope to be soon in the future.

Cade, Ivey and Thompson looked good even with the loss, as an OKC fan I was surprised by Thompson’s athleticism and hustle. That kid has potential.

The pistons look like they have a bright future. Okc is further along. I am a little worried about how most of okc's offense relies on the 3 ball, but maybe that is just what the nba is now.
As an OKC fan, i feel stellar about this year. Still exercising patience. We have many years ahead of great development years, but man. They're exciting.
The Pistons are looking good! I took my girlfriend to the game last night in OKC, and she's never even seen a game before. Her thoughts were, "i think they're just missing a piece, and they'll be really good once they get it next year."
Cade, Ivey, Ausar, and Duren are solid foundational pieces. I think you need to move on from Hayes though.

With Cade, Ivey, Duren, and Thompson are good building blocks. I think they are in a good position. They need more wing players that can shoot. Thompson too me is someone thought fit perfect for the Thunder and I think he could be all defense this season.
That Thompson dunk even had the OKC announcers shook. They even showed it back on the replay. Thompson if he developes his shot he will be the best player on the Pistons.
