I said this once they first hired quin Snyder .. he is known for getting more with less , look at those teams he had in Utah that constantly won 47-50 games in the WEST at that , this hawks team is easily more TALENTED.. a small sample size yes but hawks already have a top 10 offense even with Trae playing horribly (he will obviously improve) and they defense haven’t been half bad the past 2 games at least .. they got Proven vets & they got young guys that can pop off any night as well .. I see no reason why this hawks team can’t be a top 5 seed especially with Philly most likely slightly declining

    Why is it that when teams draft players its to pair them up w their existing talent & build on the roster.

    But in retrospect when we look back at draft misses & busts we always say oh they could've had X instead of Y who became a star but they thought they they had the spot covered already

    Is that fair or should teams rather than drafting for their roster needs instead just draft based on ceiling & potential alone?
