In an entirely unsurprising development, Denver’s star center has no plans of dressing up for Halloween. He’ll be busy preparing to frighten the Timberwolves Wednesday in Minneapolis.
Through four games this season, Jokic has been a terror to deal with. His 27-point, 11-assist and 10-rebound showing in Monday’s win over Utah was his second triple-double in four games this season. He recorded double-doubles in the other two games, and Denver’s 4-0 as a result.
“It’s incredible,” Nuggets coach Michael Malone said following Monday’s game. “I’ve said this for a few years now — I challenge myself never to take Nikola for granted. His greatness every single night. I wasn’t even aware that he had a triple-double.”’
