Denver native here and I have watched jokic since his first game as a starter. He loves basketball!!
Pat, i know you say some narative just because of topic. But I am sure, you were proffesional player, that you know than nobody can be that good only on talent. I watch nikola in regional ABA league, my hometown has two clubs, so I watched him live two times a year. He wasn't biggest talent is Serbia. Two major serb teams didn't want him.
But he was playing his game. And first time he came he was a skinny fatty, but you could see he has a highest bb IQ. And at balkans, all players are smart and knows how to play smart. And he worked. Every time he came in town you could see, ha learned something new. And his body changed. Anything of that could not happened, if he wasn't work his but off. So he is a great worker, but he doesn't put that stuff on social media. And when he go home, he relaxas. What's wrong about that. And you know, people in Serbia love and hate him. He often doesn't play for the national team. He says he must rest. And lots of people are mad at him because of that.
