Overall I am very happy with the start. Yes there is room to improve, yes defensively thes still have things to figure out, yes Kyrie didnt play well up to now… and still we won every game and dominated the most important minutes of the game, crunch time, on offense and defense. I actually cant remember one game last season where that was the case. We will loose some games, we will win some games… just give this new team (5 new players in the rotation + Kyrie with 2 months playing in our system last season) a couple of months and I think we will be able to contend or the 4th place.

Mavs played against some of the best individuell defenders in this league. Jaren Jackson Jr, Smart, Mikael Bridges won or have been in the conversation for DPoY and Wemby will win it for sure one day. Nothing and nobody bothered Luka at all. He loves those match ups and challenges and plays at a even higher level.
