[The Athletic] Patrick Williams after watching the video of his bad body language following Alex Caruso’s game-winner: “I was like let me make sure that he knows that it didn’t come from any point of jealousy or anything like that or I was upset… We won the game. That’s the biggest thing for me.”

  1. People just need to accept that he’s not an expressive person. There’s nothing wrong with that. It’s only wrong because he’s been disappointing the past couple of years. You don’t have to show that you’re a “dawg” to show that you care. That’s just plain wrong imo. Still rooting for the kid and this squad. They’re all so likeable. It’s a shame that it hasn’t translated on the court.

Who was even criticizing him for this? People expecting him to be screaming and acting crazy have not watched him at all lol.

There’s way bigger problems with Patrick than not leaping up like a fucking leprechaun because Caruso carried his ass

My son is on the spectrum. He very much acts like this during moments when my other kid is going wild with excitement. It’s just how some people are. I’ve seen enough of Pwill over the years to realize he is wired a little differently. Maybe he’s like my son, maybe not, but regardless we shouldn’t pass judgement because of his body language.
