Rick needs to find a core group of guy's and stick with it. Bruce Brown is an off the bench player. He's a – for Offense. You gave Nesmith who's been a solid defender. He can run and shoot off screen's. Why is he not getting any plays ran for him????? He signed a long term contract. Use his talent, he can get to the rim too.
They need to make Nesmith a focal point on offense. Have him shooting 3's off screen's. Let him get going early, he can cut too. He's the most seasoned guy out there other than Hield as a shooter and he's a solid defender who can drive the lane…
If Buddy needs to start some game's to get a rythem then so be it. Let him start to see if he can get hot at time's. If not then pull him for Mathurin.
I want to see Turner bulk up once in his life. Hit the gym.. 🏋 Lineup: Hali/Nesmith/Mathurin/Obi/Turner Nemby/Hield/Brown/Walker/Smith (Nwora) over Walker if we need Offense more than Defense. TJ at PG and Nembhard at SG if and depending when we're being strategic about when to play Heild. I'd try to get him more minutes with Hali to start the game at some point preferably. Or maybe you try that at least by the 2nd half.
However, whatever the choices anywhere else. I strongly feel Nesmith's true talent and potential is being wasted. He should have plays ran for him. He's a great shooter when he gets going. He's very unselfish and super selective about taking only good shots. Which is exactly why they should praise him and give him a starting SG opportunity, play him at SF some too.. But I feel he could lock up some other team's SG's while unleashing points from beyond and inside the paint drawing fouls as well. Let him play and allow others to play off Nesmith. Give him that chance to truly shine for us like he deserves.
Also I'd trade Theis to get something of value now. Be it a pick, or whatever. Jackson would be gone too, because I'd want to bring in Oscar to develop at 3rd string. Way better prospect. Maybe Lakers will take Theis of some sh!t. Or Jackson lol. I wanted Maxwell Lewis. Offer a swap for him. Or try for a guy like Sidy Cissoko. Needs work, but talented and a wing. Anyone and a pick.. Then Draft Bobi Klintman this year.
A 50 point blowout is embarrassing. I been saying this since last season we need a new head coach . Rick carlis is such a trash hippy coach. I feel if we started tj mcconnell over nembhards sorry self we would've done much better. Like I feel like he isn't trying to get us to at least the playoffs at this point. I think the tyrese haliburton injured every week is just an excuse cover up to give the young players (Andrew nembhard) more "playing experience " that they should've already gotten in college/Highschool
Early jitters mixed with a Boston team that was just on fire. Not much you can do when a team like that is hot. They were making contested and off balance shots. Glad we got to see Jerace in the 4th though. Give that man more minutes! He was doing a little bit of everything.
Can we please trade andrew nembhard. He is a overly confident player who depends on luck to score and ball hogs like a mf. And when he isn't he tries way to hard to be like tyrese haliburton
Stats don't lie, you've overvalued Bruce Brown. While Nesmith puts up tremendous stats in time given along with great D. With little to truly nothing at all even ran for him… You don't know what talent you have your wasting… ashame.
I would like to know if rick thinks this is best celtic starting 5 since 1986 with larry bird boston fan. I can only imagine bob knights reaction to a team that gave up 155 pts ,RIP to a legend
