    Waiting for the overreaction in 3, 2, 1 …

At least it’s just rest for Zion, but I hope he’s good to go for late season back-to-backs if playoff seeding is on the line

Glad Zion is out, hope BI plays

End of the bench guys must be pumped to sign for us.

If BI remains out I’m cool with CJ sitting as well

If for some reason all of our big 3 sit and we still win, I think Detroit maybe needs to relocate haha

  7. Resting Zion on the second game of a b2b, against a weak eastern conference opponent, early in the season, definitely the right move, even if it means we take an L. It would be great if BI plays, even if he doesn’t this is still a winnable game.

  8. Lol I get it, but feels like picking home games to go to in advance is such a crazy crapshoot with whose going to play with this team. I remember last year buying tickets for the first Mavs game before the season, then Zion and BI both got injured the game right before that one.

  9. BI gonna be out for weeks with the knee injury and when he comes back Zion will get hurt. I’m familiar with the game

Apparently Ingram has right knee tendinitis now?

I’m not blaming Zion. This feels like an organization decision. I just feel bad for fans going to this game hoping to see our 2 best players and potentially won’t see either of them.

Idk I guess this is unpopular opinion but I think since the West is stacked this year we need to take advantage of “easy” opponents and secure the dub…we don’t have the luxury of taking a few losses against weak opponents for load management.

should pels think on more stable core players

Am i one of the only guys here who doesn’t like this? I get all the 3 games in 5 days stuff but the Pistons are no slouch this year with Cade and Duren. Zion gets healthy by playing. He loses weight and shakes off the rust by playing. He gets used to the contact again by playing. SVG and Coach K have said it multiple times. Zion is able to play more when he plays more. You need to treat him like Shaq. Curry, Lebron, and even Kawhi have played every game for the their teams

Makes sense on a back to back and only game 5. I still expect BI to play by at least Saturday

Zion sitting this one is a no brainer but they can’t afford to have both BI and Zion out, certainly not in a playoff race that’s going to be tight.

Well that was expected after the flight delay.

    Fuck it we Flockin tonight.

I thought that they had these new rules against resting players? No way I’d ever buy NBA tix in advance.
