(Smith) I landed to being tagged in a bunch of stuff about if Boston could sign Daniel Theis if he was bought out… Yes. His contract is not greater than the Non-Taxpayer MLE. Teams above the 1st Tax Apron are restricted from signing players that took a buyout from a >NTMLE contract.

  1. The non tax MLE was 12.4mil this year, so anyone on a 1 year deal that makes less than that could be a potential buy-out guy we could theoretically pick-up. Not a ton of guys that would actually get bought out

    Theis would be amazing

Theis knows the system. We went all in this offseason. Lets continue the trend

  3. Theis got a common foul just because of this tweet.

We’ve only ever made the NBA finals with Theis on the team

Listen, I need the memes and we haven’t been back to the finals without him. Coincidence? I think not!

Why do we want Theis… so the refs can get our team into the bonus faster?

And Alec Burks, I’ve coveted him for a long time. Current salary within MLE range, we should be able to sign him in the middle of season.

Come buyout season Kelly Olynyk could also be an option

Please, Indy Fo, please Brad, make this happen. Bring Theis home.

Oh gosh this needs to happen, I’ve seen enough of Kornet to last a lifetime.

See all the other option first. I’m worried after he got injured last time. Surely there is some ring chasers want to join us?

  12. Good LORD please let this happen we need a solid bench role player

I love Daniel Theis, but he’s fallen off from what he was before, precipitously. I don’t want Brad to blow his wad on him, when somebody like Maple Dink could come back.
