  1. Off topic: The Scottie Barnes jump we predicted last year is taking place this year too.

  2. The biggest thing is late game management, every night is not just on Jason and jaylen to score, to have 5 guys that can be the leading scorer every night is tough. Jrue is also calmer than smart in late game situations, smart would always go for the home run pass or shot when we didn’t need that. Plus to have a guy like KP who can stretch bigs out 28 feet. The amount of spacing the jays have to work with now is crazy. Mazzulla looks better. Only flaw is I think if one or 2 guys off the bench can step up the only team beating us is themselves.

  3. joe getting an offseason to actually be a coach and getting his own assistants is big help as well as paul pierce working with the jays all summer has helped a lot

  4. They look different. No more double teams on Tatum and leaving Smart open to shoot.

  5. I know you mentioned their transition offense, but their set offense has been soooo much better this year as well which bodes well for playoffs especially as the chemistry grows. Tatum now taking/making shots at all 3 levels is huge, and having KP for pick and roll/pop is a game changer.

  6. Dude, those PRS’s are sick! Also the Celtics are gonna win it all imo, Kristaps looks phenomenal, Derrick White looks even better defensively than last year which is crazy considering that he made an all defensive team last year, Jrue looks like the perfect Smart replacement, JB is looking a little more efficient, Tatum is shooting more diverse shots so he’s looking like a whole different offense player in the best way possible. Our depth is also a little underrated. I’m very excited to see the rest of the season to play out

  7. Last start of the season the Bucks went 9-0 and then with the best record in the NBA lost in the first round to an 8th seed that also beat the 2nd best seed Celtics and went on to the Finals. The regular season can be very meaningless as you can start playing your worst game in the playoffs or your best like the Heat. Also the regular season record breaking teams eerily have the same thing in common; The regular season record breaking curse…
    -2007, 16-0, Patriots: Super Bowl L
    -2016, 73-9, Warriors: Finals L
    -2023, 65-17, Bruins: First round L

  8. The Celtics fans that are talking about an 82-0 or record breaking season should know better by now with the 2007, 16-0 Patriots, and just recently the 2023, 65-17 Bruins.

  9. You can't say that they are much different yet when they were also dominating the beginning of last season until that Golden State loss. Or until the fatigue came in. Then the losing leads and other problems started. Same thing can happen this season after they play enough games.

  10. What team would be a better half court offense than the celts in the playoffs? Who are the some teams? What are you talking about? They're built for that
