Did Wendell break or dislocate a finger or something? I couldnā€™t tell what was wrong

  2. Paolo had the game we were all waiting for was the best player on the court between both teams hit the game winner was way more aggressive you love to see it plus AB earned a spot in the rotation heal up WCJ

  3. Finished the west coast swing 2-2 and had a chance at 3-1 plus paolo re-emerges as that dude. Iā€™ll take it.

  4. UnhousedFeline

I feel robbed of joy even after a good win….just knowing half the team is out injured again….We had 6 days of decent health for the first time in 4 years and now we’re back to this bullshit.

  5. dickysmalls1993

I really like all the intangibles around Jalen Suggs. Seems to always get effort rebounds, defensive motor, disruptive. It pains me so so much to watch this man attempt to put the ball in the hoop. Misses wide open shots and simply could not finish bunnies tonight.

It’s an abusive relationship between hating his offense and loving his defense.

  6. Arod12toTae17

I said it after the Clippers game, this Utah team was the perfect team to play when you’re slumping offensively.

2-2 road trip, before it started i’d have taken it without a second thought. So far we had a blowout and a tight game win against teams expected to be bad, as well as a blowout and a tight game loss against teams expected to be good. Reality being us being a .500 (or slightly above it) team meant we were somewhere in the middle, and we could see that tonight.

Good job bouncing back from the earlier struggles by Paolo and Franz, both had good games tonight. Suggs was a monster on defense but sadly had a few whiffs on the other side of the ball, but i guess thats par for the course at this point. Isaac and Cole both big + of the bench.

Shame about the Dell injury, on top of Kelle and Gary both getting hurt it might be a bit tough, but at the same time maybe an opportunity for some more lineup experimentation like Paolo at the 5 or more play time for our rooks.

Really pleasantly surprised by AB, he did what came to him and didnt try to force anything. Hopefully we get to see Jett as well eventually.

  8. StreetRabbit471

Dell missed some easy buckets but it was still a bounce back game. So sad that he is rewarded by getting hurt grabbing a huge rebound. Heal up big fella

  9. SonicNarcotic

Blown lay-ups, Utah flopping, defensive identity and reputation building, Banchero back, Injury concerns another close one, but we pull out the W…

Just another day for the Orlando Magic…

  10. Milla4Prez66

Great win but hate that when I woke up we had no injuries and now we have 3.

  11. SpideyUdaman

    What a great game!

Slow start. Rough patches in 3rd quarter, but the son of Abraham sayeth “ye shalt be all right under my hand “. He looked like he blocketh a lot just in that quarter.

Heart acupuncture on the 4th. It could’ve gone either way on the fourth. But I would probably fainted, if I’m the type to faint, if we lost that.

Great games from our best players(edit: wanted to add that this is the PB our salty fans are dreaming of), and Anthony Black, my what a guy! No Markelle, but I hope his injury isn’t serious(same goes with WCJ).

  12. “Does anyone think this team would have been better off drafting Chet or Jabari?”

  13. Charming_Lion211

So glad we won this game the Jazz players, broadcast, and fans were insufferable all night.

I was so pissed when Lauri made that 3 and they started celebrating, glad to send them home with a L.

  14. teh_drewski

Never had a single doubt, concern or worry. Nope. Nuh-uh. Not one.

  15. Independent-Impress7

Ingles can barely move out there.
Paolo and Franz will lead us.

AB needs more opportunity to learn and grow. The notion that a 6th overall pick must ā€œearnā€ playtime or rack up dnps as if we arenā€™t a rebuilding team is ridiculous.

Iā€™m curious to see what the big man rotation will be by seasons end.

  16. Loose-Animal7305

First Fultz now Dell, hope both heal up soonšŸ™ nice game by the rook AB, and this the Paolo we’ve been waiting for

  17. lil_thirdy

I better see some apology post for Paolo. Cant believe yall doubted this man

  18. CallMeKerm

If Dell broke a finger, Goga better be ready to go.

  19. Blading_at_45

I think they will be fine if Carter misses time. Between Mo, Paolo, and Isaac they can play matchups at center. This should give AB more playing time.

  20. BOGOUppercuts

All Mose is giving us on WCJ is “We’ll look at it after we get home.”

  21. banchero98

Another great game by Cole. 17-7-7-2 with high efficient

  22. UnhousedFeline

AB established himself. Dude made all the right plays, put the ball in the basket, was locked in while he was on the court. I saw one slow rotation on defense that could have been better but other than that he was solid. Dude should be playing over Ingles easily just based on those minutes tonight.

  23. I_am_Realist

I just realized that we haven’t faced an Eastern Conference team yet LOL

  24. An underrated aspect of the game was how Cole stepped up as an initiator/distributor without Fultz. Thought he played really well

  25. This is who we are without Markelle. When the going gets tough, we play garbage iso ball. In lieu of Markelle, O needs to run through Franz down the stretch. Or AB when heā€™s ready.

  26. evenyetodd

15 free throws is crazy lol heā€™s incredible

Edit: AB is a very cerebral player. I am looking forward to seeing more from him.

  27. That lame Jazz coach coulda chose Goga or Chum to sub in for WCJ but he picked AB. Nearly worked, but thankfully he split it.

  28. VoidTyrant

That was so close , I was sweating like I was in a sauna

  29. Joe Ingles represents Orlando so well. He makes me feel at home as a tourist at a theme park that is slightly overweight, sweats a lot and does not tan well

  30. Get ready for Isaac to ramp up to 20mpg. The minister of defense will be averaging 2stls/2.5blks very soon šŸ˜¤šŸ˜¤šŸ˜¤

  31. SincereFan

Paolo 30, Franz 21, Wendell double-double (though he was a clear weakpoint this whole game and honestly isn’t a center and it shows every night but he is still a great player and hope he recovers well). Anthony Black proved he can stay on the court and be productive. JI has once again shown just complete dominance as a defender and imo is still a top 10 defender in the NBA. Suggs with many clutch plays to end the game, some clutch rebounds, and some great steals. Cole hit a few good shots but was a bit selfish imo at the end (same with Franz honestly).

I think first option Franz is working, he has the stamina to be the guy most of the game, and it allows Paolo to be more efficient and play harder for longer. However, it does make Franz take a drop in his numbers. I think this is a working system, Franz will hit shots more often than not and his playmaking with the ball in his hands is a huge positive driving force for this team. I am honestly surprised that Paolo and Franz have moved away from the PNR game between each other like last season. It had alot of success last season the PB+FW buddy ball. Now it seems like they choose sides and cross court pass or wait for one of the other to cut or just iso and shoot. Wish they get back to working together in a tangent.

Good game imo, had many sloppy moments, but alot of real buildable positives. I just dont know what Mosley sees in Ingles. The guy doesn’t fit right now until he finds his shot, and there are others who do fit better than the nonshooting Ingles. AB/Jett/Caleb all imo fit better and have skillsets that will help this team every single night. AB’s man to man defense, offball movement and foul drawing ability, Jett’s shooting, playmaking, and shotcreating ability, and Calebs 3&D ability plus his cutting and help defense. I rather all of these young guys over Joe and its not just because of their age and potential to grow into bigger and more valuable players than the the guy who may retire next year or the year after. I truly think they are better synergistic and cohesive fits. Mosley just has no idea how to manage assets.

I honestly called it in the discord that as soon as Joe sits the Magic will make a huge run and it happened, then Mos brought Joe back in during the closing minutes and I called that this will be a nailbiter and they will make a run and it happened. Its not because Joe is a bad defender (though he does have huge weakpoints), its that his pace and speed doesn’t match the younger players who are actively moving and switching and running around. This speed on defense, often leaves Joe in no mans land, he is quick to close out, but on help defense I think he is an active target. Not to mention he often does get blown by but JI is generational defender and it is often forgiven but he is really testing JI’s instincts daily (its not just him sometimes Gary and Moe lets them go by also). I truly think AB needs time over Joe, and if the team needs shooting then put in Jett or Caleb.

Lastly, I think Suggs was a capable PG, he had his mistakes but he had good glimpses also. Well Franz mostly played the point but I do like the way the ball moved this game. Everybody showed the passing gene. Suggs + Jett starting lineup is still in play as I said right after the draft. Markelle is clearly the best PG and playmaker on this team but maybe him dominating the ballhandling duties is limiting Franz and Paolo’s skillsets a bit, I also do see a future with AB starting as the PG. I am also back on the WE DONT NEED GARY AND JOE mindset. I 100 percent still prefer Jett/Caleb get Joe’s minutes and AB gets Gary’s. A Cole Jett AB JI/Caleb(once JI is resting) Moe bench can be fantastic and may just be top 5 NBA. I do believe that for the next level at some point Wendell will be moved down and the team will need to bring in a real center that can rim protect, act as a rim deterrent, can play drop coverage, shoot the ball, rebound, and is a great shot blocker. If the player can also be a rim runner and lob threat because of height all the better fit for Paolo and Franz. Once Mo comes back this team is complete.

  32. Paaaoooolo!!!!šŸ”„šŸ”„šŸ”„šŸ’Ŗ
The kid got his swagger back tonight.
Totally different attitude on court once he built some confidence early, smiling and enjoying ballin with his mates. Aggressive when needed to be too and didnā€™t over think too much.
Hopefully this is the game that flicks the switchā€¦
