Nuggets could not buy a basket last night. Timberwolves came out and made a statement. They will be a problem this season, not just for the Nuggets but the league.

It's a long season got to expect the nuggets to lose some games
wolves arent a great matchup for the nuggets because of their size. And not just size from their bigs, but also the wings – McDaniels and Edwards. Nuggets have also struggled historically against athletic wings who can shoot (mitchell, Edwards). This is a matchup the nuggets want to avoid come playoff time. I know they won in 5 last year, but that was without Naz and McDaniels who are huge contributors.
I mean the nuggets shot terrible then the free throw discrepancy. This game was an outlier. I am worried about MPJs shooting. If he keeps shooting like this he will play himself off the floor.
No lies told, man! T-Wolves did their thang last night, regardless of the fact my Nuggets didn’t show up. Being outmatched like that will hopefully just help us get better and I’m pretty sure Cal Booth put some extra work in today scouting and planning. Hats off, Wolves! 🫡

I feel like it's important to note that the Nuggets were on their 3rd game in four days. At the beginning of the season when no one is in peak shape, that's A LOT. So, as much as I agree that this is a tough match-up due to the Wolves' size, I think fatigue is an important factor here that wasn't addressed.
Wolves always had the Numbers against the Nuggets….but I still believe in the Nuggets for repeating and taking the #1 seed in the West
