Kurt Warner posted a video on Twitter last night exposing Arthur's crappy scheme/plays.
He is putting Ridder and the O in terrible situations that make the QB look bad. Ridder does need to stop fumbling the ball, but his play calling is doing his young QB zero favors.
We'll see this Sunday if Heinicke can overcome Smith's first half play calling, not to mention as soon as you snap the ball 9 times outta 10 there's a defender already in your face.
We will soon see who/what the real issue is. And if Heinicke goes out there and balls, so be it! I always want my team to win.

But I totally agree with OG Mathis! The players are scape goats for the coaches what about the person who’s calling the plays!!!! I keep saying Author Smith needs to just be Head Coach, they tried this same setup with Dan Quinn, making him head coach and defensive coach and he couldn’t dial up the plays the right one!! Author needs to pick his poison and stick with it!!
You two do not take the locker room into consideration. After observing AS very closely, if he had it only his way, he would have stuck with Ridder. But the vets in the locker room aren’t fools, and he would lose the locker room if Ridder returned in the game or was re designated the starter after the type of spark Taylor brought to the team when he took over. Refrain from being so negative and overly critical. Hot seat or not, what made sense, considering all the turnovers and initial health concerns, it is absolutely the right decision. Truth is, you’d be crucifying the same coach, had he brought back Ridder in the game after Taylor spark, and turned the ball over 2 more times, or if Ridder lost us the game against the Vikes for the same reasons.

It's so funny how people want coaches to answer questions the way they like because at the end of the day fans can't held the truth Terrance Mathis been on the losing end of many losing Falcons team let coaches coach because at the end of the day BULLIONAIRDS ARE NOT ASKING FOR US THE VOTE ON COACHES DECISIONS. But I understand the problem with the NFL it a fast food mentality RISE UP
Arthur Smith rather lose and protect his pride before admitting he made a mistake at QB. Taylor should of been QB 1 week 1. Period. Even with stellar talent, it takes stellar coaching to win it all. If they are making these type of mistakes still, just like the draft… couch for the post season. Atlanta has this roman candle mentality… quick flash but rarely build from the foundation. Foundation is your line and QB to start. In 3 years, they haven't figured that out at the NFL level. Guy, anyone … even me, could coach this team better. Truth.

Excellent points, you are right on the key. I've attempted to help others to understand ryan, mariotta, ridder, and heinicke three years 18-24. The only common denominator is the same play calling Arthur smith who cannot read the defensive schemes of the opponents, clueless clock management, and horrible play calling. Fans want our team to win, fire srthur Smith and get a real oc on here and the Falcons can win again. This is not a Ridder problem. Finally someone else gets it.
Art isn’t consistent. His play calls isn’t consistent. Clock management isn’t consistent. That’s why we do good one game and then the next we lose. The real question is that is he going to give up play calls and hand it to someone else if it needs to be done?.
