  1. The blame is on the management. The last two playoff losses to the warriors and Lakers can be directly attributed to a lack of rim protection and rebounding. What did management do about it? well, last year in the draft the Grizzlies gave up center Walker Kessler and combo guard Ty Ty Washington for LaRavia and Roddy.
Did they draft a center in the second round like Orlando Robinson? No. Did they sign a free agent back up center knowing Clarke was out and Adams was hurt? No. And for peace sake, please don't talk to me about Byombo.

  2. Dillon brooks was a horrible player the last two years for the Grizz. Injuring players, technical fouls, airballs, talking trash to stars and getting burnt. But lets keep it real, Grizz letting him go definitely motivated that mane to get better this summer…

We went from one of the best upcoming cores in the NBA to laughingstocks. We're back on the treadmill and the Grizz might as well tank for a draft pick at this point. Zach Kleinman and Taylor Jenkins have to be fired. I'm sure they won't be tho lol

  3. And Joe Mullinax, your takes are mostly haterish, but based in fact. This Ja Morant take is trash. Ja Morant never committed a crime and shouldn't be suspended. Secondly, Ja being suspended is irrelevant to why the Grizzlies are bad today. NEWSFLASH- HE AIN'T PLAYING

  4. Stop blaming Ja Morant! Fire the coach and the whole recruiting staff. Trade roddy , konchar, and lavia point blank period they suck!

  5. The problem is with management. Steven Adams was not available last year and they did not go out and get a replacement. Clark got hurt no replacement was pursued for him. The bench was not and has not been constructed to support this. We see the same thing this year. JA has been out before and this start can not be placed on that. You have to get replacements to maintain your balance.

  6. Damichael @ 27:00 pointed out an eventual breakout game for Luke Kennard brewing some point soon. I have a feeling one of these back 2 back game's he'll go bananas and spark some of the offensive momentum we've been waiting for. Biyombo's addition wont be a statement, but it'll definitely reinforce our defensive identity. Aldama returning soon for that year 3 leap should certify our return to normalcy. His all around game and hopefully increased usage rate will absolutely take pressure off our stars and that'll certainly take away some of X's 3 point shot opportunities. Little by little we'll figure this out. GNG!

  7. I can’t see Jenkins problem with loften he’s an offensive monster why not let him go see what he do. Obviously your way ain’t working

  8. Don't understand why you don't report the improvement potential of playing Lofton in place of Laravia.Roddy and Z Williams, when Lofton out scored 3 Grizzly starters and out rebounded 2 Grizzly starters against Utah while only being allowed to play limited minutes off the bench!
Wake up Jenkins and give Lofton a start!

  9. I blame bad coaching. Taylor Jenkins is a horrible coach with a poor offensive and defensive coaching scheme. He has a 90's defensive coaching scheme in a modern day 3pt shooting era all thanks to steph. Almost every player in the NBA is capable of shooting the three so you need to guard the perimeter instead of just leaving the worse shooter open. Don't even get me started on the half-court offense. Jaren is soft and plays pretty. We need a power foward/ center combo that are ready to get down and dirty like zach and mark in the good ole days.

  10. Tillman and Aldama are bench players not starters. They look weak when their matched up against nba starters!
Smart is playing hot and cold! Grizzlies defense not where it was with Dillon Brooks!

  11. I blame the coaching staff (especially whoever our shooting coach is) and the back office. Taylor Jenkins needs to be replaced asap.

  12. Bismack don't play pg lmao we're missing Tyus right now, we don't have a floor general, hell even Slo was a better point than Marcus Smart, not taking away from him as a player, he's just not who you want to depend on to get guys shots, you don't game plan against that, Ja and Tyus spoiled Jenkins, now they're not there it's turmoil and they think signing a C is the answer 🤦🏾‍♂️

  13. Ok in the first round of the playoffs against Minnesota only Clarke and Xavier were the bigs. The front office knew Steven Adams couldn’t keep up in the playoffs. So instead of trading or drafting a big is the reason why,and don’t give me well he played good against an undersized warriors team

  14. One of the key components of white privilege is NEVER blame a white man for something when you can blame a black man. All NBA players operate under a collective bargaining agreement that both the league "owners" and players union must agree to and sign. The CBA only says that players can't have firearms on league property. Ja Morant was photographed holding a gun in his own vehicle and NOT on league property yet he got suspended anyway. The Trump supporter Joe Mullisuck knows this yet still places the blame on Ja Morant. It's not Ja's fault that Taylor Jenkins is a bad coach. It's not Ja's fault that Zach Kleiman has let Grayson Allen, DeAnthony Melton, Kyle Anderson, Jonas Valenchunus, Kyle Anderson, Tyus Jones, and Dillon Brooks all leave the roster. It's not Ja's fault that Desmond Bane is only shooting 34% from three and that Jaren Jackson is only shooting 32% from three and only 42% from the field. Joe Mullisuck is just a sad human being.

  15. I cannot fathom the level of arrogance it takes to see how previous franchises built their rosters after their core was established, and still decide to go against that. Teams like Denver, Golden State, Toronto, etc. Imagine seeing that and saying "nah, we need more unproven rookies". Truly mind blowing.
