Masai doesn't want to hurt Pascal's feelings knowing he helped him get into the NBA. He's been underperforming so bad to the point of where he isn't worthy of being the 1st option or even second. Better mentally focused players out there, sure pascal is built like one but man.. al that money for nervous basketball

Why aren’t we targeting individuals who are falling to 3/4 string due to roster make ups or trades such as Paul reed, Monk, Tre Jones… so many gems that could help make this team useful. I’m sick of trade rumors but I’m more sick of Otto porter junior and the sleuth of sub optimal bench players.

The NBA seem to be stacking certain teams , Clippers , look at their starting 5 with the addition of Harden. Dame with the Bucks. WHO is Toronto going to get when all these teams are stacked. No one that can help maybe future picks.
Whatever happens, I don’t think we should trade OG. I think we need to show him and Scottie that they are the core of the team and build around them for the future. I like Pascal’s mindset. He wants the team to work through its difficulties and adjust to the new system. It’s ugly now but everything needs time. Be patient everyone!

Raptors starters can’t score but there defence is elite second best defensive in points allowed per game.
I say we give away Gary, Thaddeus Poeltl 45 million and get a scoring C because if they had 28 ppg we are 3-1 with a top 5 offences
I know this sounds crazy but Poeltl doesn’t mess offensively with a non shooting starting line
If you spread the floor open the non shooters can get to the rim.
It's too early in the season (and too early into a new system) to start making panic trades. I'm not sold on this roster long term just yet (even after the Bucks game), but I'm trying to exercise patience while waiting to see how everyone settles in to this new system. If the way they played the Bucks is sustainable and they can be focused and consistent, I think the bigger question is what can they do to upgrade their bench in a meaningful way? And a lot of people seem to be forgetting that the Raps' first in '24 will just get kicked down the road to '25 or even '26 if it doesn't convey this year. So what good does it do to intentionally try to bottom out to keep a top 6 pick in what is widely regarded as a weaker draft class, when we would just lose it the next season anyway?
