    As a casual NBA fan, the in season tourney does nothing for me. I'm not going to pay for cable just to watch more regular season games. I'll be like everyone else, and wait until it's on Network TV during the Finals. The NBA should realize the lack of viewership isn't because of the lack of interest in the regular season, but the lack of I'm not going to pay $60+ for 50 channels where I only watch 2 for a few games a month. Especially when I can watch all the highlights for free on YouTube.

    What if they should get rid of the NBA and have the in-season instead? I mean…. who would like to watch 82 game regular season.

    Let me know when teams outside the NBA compete in this tournament

    Otherwise the tournament should be played January into February (during the week) with the final four games being played all-star weekend… semi-finals on Friday & Championship on Sunday!

    And all games should be on broadcast TV… for the time being!

    add this reward for the cup winner

    If the winner finishes in the top 6 in the final seeding
    – they automatically have home court advatage in the first round/throughout the playoffs

    if the winner is outside of the top 6 in the final seeding
    – they automatically get the 7th seed in the playoffs

    I would like the idea of the winning team also gets ultimate home advantage in the playoffs, no matter where there seeded. An extra kick for those 2-6 seed teams

    It also does diminish the accomplishment of getting 1 seed so idk

    Stupid tournament, there no need to have one, stop using " European soccer has a in season tournament" as an excuse, for example the top league , England Premier League not all teams play in the Champion League and the FA Cup all teams in all level compete but PL teams mostly use there team B in that tournament, anyway the team that win the in season tournament mostly likely going to compete for the NBA Championship 🤡 tournament
