A few years ago they were saying the same exact thing about prozingis, even had the same opponent KD saying he’s a “unicorn” but of course just like Wilbon (PTI) always says no one remembers anything that happened five minutes ago

Nothing against Wemby at all but it is still so early….guys that big dont usually have long careers playing his style unfortunately. Great shosing against the Suns but the Suns also lack defense… They paid a lot to get great offensively but the lack of depth and defensive will raise its ugly head later in the season. I believe Bradley Beal isnt playing yet either so they aren't at full strength. The league will learn Wemby's tendencies and I think better defensive teams will limit him. Hope he can stau healthy but its way too early for this kind of talk. He's an NBA rookie but not a rookie in the sense of he has not played professionally… We dont know how much more he can progress skills wise
I'm on the Wemby bandwagon right now but c'mon… This isn't the worse he will ever be, he is human after all and that was a great game for him. You guys are over hyping to the proportion he will never be able to live up to.

Good thing he gas the maturity and mental fortitude to deal with the hype and all the pressure. Pretty sure Tim Duncan will be. a good mentor in this aspect of the game.
