Seth Curry played for 5 minutes and is 6-foot-nothing and had as many rebounds as Dwight Powell.

Surely Nuggets fans must get tired of watching Jokic just chuck the ball at the hoop and it go in every time. I sure hate it.

At the defending champs home without our head coach while Luka turned the ball over way more than normal and despite all that this game was always within reach until the end. I think that’s a huge positive.
The defense when it came to rotations and guarding were decent in my opinion. THE REBOUNDING WAS THE ONLY ISSUE. I would also like to formally apologize to Jason Kidd. SWEENY MAKES KIDD LOOK LIKE A BASKETBALL GENIUS.
We lost this game on rebounds
That game was garbage, and it was mostly because the Mavs did not play in character. At least I’m hoping Luka screaming at the refs isn’t going to be the character of this team.
Our roster is 1 big and one defender away from really competing.
I do wonder how this game plays out if Kidd was there, not sure if it would go better or worse honestly.
Dwight and lively: 10/5/1 on 4/8 shooting
Jokic m: 33/14/9 on 14/16 shooting
They had twice as many as rebounds, got killed in second chance points. Rebounding once again making mavs suffer.
If we’re gunna lose to anyone, losing to the defending champs ain’t bad. Just wish we played better, our rebounding was awful and lineups were questionable. Maybe we do a bit better with Kidd and Maxi but rebounding ended us.
Jason Kidd is the real MVP
Masterclass by Jokic and we’re still not a good rebounding team. But Denver is the hardest place to play in the entire league. Not at all worried about this loss
Need more size
Jokic is a god. Kyrie needs to shoot more. Need to start games stronger.
Rebounding, refs, and Luka TOs were absolute shit. So clear they need to deal THJ + others for a 2-way wing.
Hardy/Curry can soak up THJ’s minutes.
Fought hard, besides for the rebounds. Hopefully they clean that up throughout the season

Denver at home is tough. They’re clearly the best in the west.

Despite the dozens of extra rebounds we kept pace with the Nuggets every quarter but the first. Sort of miss our record a few years back of being like 40-0 when we led in the 1st.

Honestly not mad, we won the games we should’ve, Denver is the best team in the league and we fought back in the end.

Im on board with Exum playing …. Denver with way more assists than the Mavs and dominated on the offensive boards but even though he has legit height for his position benched all game .
I was looking forward to Jokic killing us, and I mean that in the best possible way. As high as I am on Lively, he had no chance in this matchup and Powell even worse. I’m a little surprised we didn’t throw Holmes a few minutes to see if he could do anything. If we’re not going to play Holmes we need to make a trade ASAP to get someone with some size in here to demote Powell to 3rd string
What Sean Sweeney had out there should be illegal. We were getting absolutely demolished out there whenever he played his three guard lineup especially the ones with Hardy, THJ, and Kyrie. That lineup aint fucking boxing out especially not Aaron Gordon who just cuts 24/7.He had a damn out of timeout play for Dereck Lively to shoot a three in a 8 point game against the Denver Nuggets. Like are you seriously trying to win this game? I dont understand why he didnt even try Exum who whole purpose is to defend against opposing guards or why DJJ wasnt used more in our small ball lineups. Just have to move on from this game we are still 4-1.
