He's not the best athlete, to say the least, but his mental dominance keeps rivals on their toes just like Bird did back in the day. It's hard to guard against someone who already knows what he's going for three possessions in advance. They all playing checkers while Jokic is playing chess.

I’ve noticed this season Murray has facilitated a lot more for Jokic rather than the other way around and Jokic is EATING. Obviously Jokic is still doing his thing with assists but having a playmaker with him can give him long stretches of just letting him be aggressive
