Agree that he has been a tremendous pickup so far but the fact that he is on a one year minimum “prove it” contract is important too. Signing him longer term brings some risks based on past performances.

I don’t know why people thought Oubre was a bad pickup. I was thrilled. He’s exactly the kind of guy the prior FOs would ignore and let go to a contender for cheap. I do have to wonder how much Nick Nurse influenced the decision to sign him.
