  1. The DUMBEST thing I have seen from Jacque is benching Ben in the last few minutes. What message is he sending a guy who needs the coach to believe in him? Wins are important but this is not a championship team. Use this as a learning for the future when we are a championship team. ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC 😡

  2. JV isn't the head coach his detractors wanted but he's the head coach the franchise need. Spencer Dinwiddie isn't the point guard his detractors want but he's the point guard the Nets need. It's obvious how animated both are, during games. Anyone that think their performance, in past years, are a template for their future lack foresight. JV is a far better coach today than he was in his first stint as a head coach in Orlando. Experience does that for you. Dinwiddie is in his prime and is at the top of his game. Any observer of the Nets games this season could see how his teammates defer to him on the floor. He's got the respect as a leader on the floor..

  3. Both Dinwiddie and DSJ came back, not being 100% healthy, because they wanted to help this team win. That high character which don't get enough spotlight. An identity and culture come from a roster of high character blue collar players. That's what we have now. High quality talent are attracted to franchises with a solid coaching staff and a stable cohesive roster with high character unselfish players that enjoy playing with each other. It's early in the season, but so far, I'm more optimistic about this franchise's direction than when we had the "big three."

  4. The Nets should keep their powder dry and build their war chest, Should Lonnie Walker and Trendon Watford have a breakout season, we'll have to outbid other suitors not to mention the possible contract extensions of Dinwiddie, Claxton, and other unforeseen players we'll like to sign. Ben is the only player we should focus on trading because we'll never get our money's worth from him because of his bloated contract. If we're conference finalist or win the chip with him being one of the heads to the spear, I'll change my mind in a heart beat. LoL

  5. Man, they don't win that game without a lot of guys but DFS especially. He played at such a high level, that you could see the team missed him when he wasn't out there. Plus, great all around game from Spencer. Random observation – there were moments when I felt they could have used Armoni Brooks sniping. He brings a steady 3 pt presence.

  6. They will have some discussions to make regarding starting and closing line-ups, in particular to CJ and Nic coming back. DFS and CT have both earned spots.

  7. Chicago used to blow us out when kd Kyrie and harden was on the team. Glad we got this win.

  8. Gritty win! Complete team effort. We have a locked in starting 5 with Dinwiddie now dishing out 9 assists. Clax needs to come off the bench or be traded assp. Hoping to see watford and brooks when the scoring dried up in the 3rd quarter

  9. We hoopin fellas! Douglas, I believe you told us 3pt shooting could be a problem!! 🤔🤔🤔 haha hopefully the boys can keep it up, I’m bought in

  10. You guys smoked this episode with a remarkable display of objectivity and honesty. Your insights were enriched with valuable statistical nuggets. I want to emphasize that I'm not retracting my earlier criticism of JV. Decisions like not playing Lonnie Walker and benching Cam Thomas for 9 crucial minutes in the fourth quarter after his 33-point performance in three quarters are indefensible. No coach, player, or GM must be exempt from constructive criticism. However, I must also acknowledge that since games 1 and 2, Coach Vaughn has been placing trust in all his players, and it's yielded positive results. I'd also like to give a big shout out to Dinwiddie for his improved disposition this season, showing restraint in complaining about fouls and avoiding excessive shot-hunting, unlike last season. Furthermore, Vaughn's strategy of having Spencer play extended minutes with the second unit appears to be revealing itself. Regarding the return of CJ and Claxton at some point, these are indeed fortunate issues to have. This team thrives as the collective SUM of its parts, so Claxton and CJ need to integrate smoothly until there's clear evidence that they should be in the starting lineup. GO Nets!!!
