That ref had her moment tonight, sad it wasn’t on ESPN or TNT for her to get the credit she deserves.

To clarify, I mean that for both teams. Just bad overall.

  2. mattislinx

Great win after an underwhelming second half overall. Brooklyn played tough.

  3. MajorSlimes

Porzingis only got credit for 3 blocks but I swear he shoulda had 5-6 at least

  4. RainBristle

Cam Thomas is a bucket. Every time he has the ball I feel like it’s gonna lead to points

  5. DiseaseRidden

This game felt like it was going to be a nailbiter and then the Nets airballed like 3 threes in a row

  6. SevenPercentEgg

Wow felt like KP played more than 30

  7. trashiguitar

Celtics realized in the 4th quarter that the key to winning was putting the ball through the basket

  8. MolingHard

C’s just have way more talent than us (and most NBA teams)

But missing 3 starters, coming off a b2b from Chicago you really didn’t expect much from this Nets team but they made the C’s work for it

On a side note, while the Nets are 3-3 they are 6-0 against the spread, which means the Nets aren’t a good team, they’re a great one!

  9. SilverMagnum

These Nets are for real. Definitely a playoff team.

Nice win for Boston without 🦬 and nice to see how we handle a close game. Our defense and shooting in clutch time is going to make us a tough out for sure.

  10. Padulsky21

Them boys fought but they looked gassed as fuck all game. Those refs were also dogshit but we move on

This team is a lot better than I expected them to be. Scheduling is a bitch facing the best team in the league on the 2nd leg of a b2b

  11. EutaxySpy

Jrue Holiday in crunch time was so good, timely buckets and great with the ball

  12. smooogle

There should be zero people left questioning the Celtics off season moves. This team is stacked.

  13. crashbandicoochy

My one wish is that neither of these teams have to see this ref crew ever again. We were on the better end of it tonight, no doubt, but fuck me was that terrible. The Nets are nice boys, they do not deserve that.

They don’t even know the shot clock reset rules lmao

  14. LuckysBestMan

cam thomas is the eastern conference’s devin booker

  15. Cam is impressive. Great game and glad to see Horford, Kornet and Brissett have a good game. Love the hustle.

  16. rattatatouille

Kudos to the Nets for making the Celtics work for their win.

  17. dtrain330

And with that, Minnesota has the opportunity to do the funniest thing ever Monday night.

  18. fathistorymonth

Missing 3 starters on a back to back against the only loss-less team in the league – felt pretty competitive and i’m happy with how everyone except Royce O’Neal played. Would like to see more Watford/Brooks minutes when we have so many guys out. gg celts

  19. Neverslept2mins

It’s the hope that kills you. I didn’t think Nets could do it going in, but then gained a tiny bit of hope, then stupid Celtics made three after three like in three possessions and seal the deal.

  20. Khione_Asteri

if tatum just keeps putting up a hyper efficient 30 every game we might have to take him seriously a little bit. top 30 even.

jk this is perhaps his top 5 ascension season alongside luka and the mvps (and then the 5 other dudes who are if healthy on or near that level)

  21. elcapitandemundo

GG. Nets got a fun group, put up a good fight tonight

hope to see them at full strength for the rematch Friday

  22. FredDupe

Jrue had a block today, bet the over for the Buffalo next game

  23. surenleo

Boston is just so good… I can see them going 73-9 🤔

  24. CactusHooping

That was a weak tech hanging on the rim for the amount of time on it.

  25. LuckysBestMan

KP efficient af tonight. holiday stepping up offensively with white out.

  26. GandalfTheBlack-

Celtics win without our best player you love to see it

  27. BruceBrownMVP

Boston really are something special this year. They’re so good x4.

That being said I’m so proud of this team man. We look so much better than I expected.

Missing Clax and Simmons really hurt us in this one. KP was cooking us we just didn’t have the size for him. Simmons especially really adds rhythm and IQ which was sorely missed at times.

Cam Thomas has been fantastic but he was up to some of his usual tricks tonight.

Mikal, Royce and Cam Thomas all missed 13 shots and we only lost by 10. I’ll take it…

  28. deets23_

Felt like we didn’t step up the D till the last few minutes

  29. junkit33

Celtics kind of played like shit and still won by 10 against a decent team on the road. Mark of a pretty good team right there.

  30. diableslasher

Relative to my standards pretty good Kornet and Hauser game, pretty meh Brissett game and pretty abysmal Pritchard game. I’m honestly surprised Brissett is higher than Stevens in the depth chart so far but we’ll have time over the next few weeks to see if he actually plays, it’s still early in the season.

I don’t like Tatum playing 40 minutes but as we’ve seen, the offense seems to torpedo when he’s not out there. What Joe has done is have Tatum and Porzingis be the 1st one off the floor in the 1st quarter(granted in this game it was Al since White wasn’t there) but I think it would be wiser to have Jaylen off at the start. As we saw in the 4th quarter, you can literally play Tatum with a whole bench lineup and be fine and this has been true consistently the last few years. That way you can match Porzingis and Jaylen’s minutes a bit more as well.

  31. dalappas

Cs played sort of crappy I thought and still put up 124 on the Nets.

  32. Kermitt7979

Imma put the nets in with the heat as a cockroach ass team. You moutherfuckers wouldn’t go away

  33. daniel_trees27

I love jrue so so so much. he’s perfect

  34. burner7221

I’ll take a 10 point loss to the best team in the league that just beat a team by 50.

  35. Angelic_Phoenix

Most embarrassing officiating I’ve seen in a while, and refs have been awful ALL season

  36. n0th1ng10

Hope the world can finally see that kp is a legit top 20 player, been saying this since last year.

  37. Fluffyballsacks

I’m not the only one that is glad we have jrue now instead of smart right? He just seems to help settle them and get things on track compared to smart’s dribble the ball out while bitching at everyone then heaving a 3 that has no chance. This would have been a loss last year instead they closed out beautifully.
