And if you think this was/is flukey, it’s not. Last season KP was the 6th best post up player in the league by the same metric. Tatum was 4th. I hope we start feeding them in the post even more

This is what excited me even more than his spacing ability—we haven’t had a post player like him a very long time.
When our offense would get bogged down late in game last season and the year prior, it was like finding an efficient shot became impossible. KP makes us so much more versatile and gives us another highly efficient option when things start going south for the offense.

They are doing a great job getting him the ball in the deep post against smaller defenders. Post ups aren’t traditionally the most efficient plays but because he’s getting them against mismatches I wouldn’t be surprised if this continues.

Very impressive.

Used to pray for times like this. Praying for health and more time for the guys to gel. By the end of the season we should be absolutely rolling with the ball movement

Having a passer like Jrue and a bunch of great shooters on the perimeter should be big for KP. Jrue will find him when he’s got the mismatch, and help defense will be further away.
The starting five–either with Horford or White–is really looking like a perfectly-constructed machine. Their strengths just seem to mesh really well.

Damn wish we didnt give up the Sengun pick. Knew he would be special.

Still feels like he’s just getting acclimated too. He’s got another level

Of all the NBA players of all time (so far) Porzingis seems like the most ‘complete’ human being – by far. Skilled, tough, smart, beautiful, extensive world travels and has lived in the EU for long periods, speaks multiple languages, tactical firearms training/enthusiast, dancer, film/arts school, actor, outdoorsy, etc.
You can tell he genuinely has his shit together, like he could probably be a millionaire running just about any business, if he wanted.
Are there any other NBA players that impressive?

Gordo averaging 17/6/5. He’d look great on this team too lol.

There is no end to my enjoyment on these type of posts. Being 5-0 and just soaking it all in.

That’s only on 10 possession so tiny sample size but yeah he is absolutely a great post player, top 5 in the league
