Having a competent second unit is going to be the key for us to return to the NBA Finals. We know the starters are elite and can take on any other starting unit. But, as we saw last season, our second unit was our weakness. Soon as the starters rested, the second unit fell apart. This season's shaping up to be a great one! Let's go Dubs! Steph has gotten fired up to out-of-this-world levels when someone or media disses him to the max. WELL did anyone notice the AUDACITY OF RICH PAUL always doing the extremely political like dirty campaign of lies and putting the competition down for LBJ who had the nerve to say "I can do what Steph does". (!) I despised the guy BEFORE THAT but it just proved to me how dirty and obsessed the KLUTCH SPORTS MAFIA is about manufacturing put-downs of their competition to perpetuate the b.s about Lebron is the self-appointed king. MAKES ME SICK TO EVEN SAY IT. SO, Rich Paul, I GUESS YOU'VE NEVER NOTICED that over the years when people or the Media short changes Steph – something ALIEN no joke happens. IT LIGHTS HIM ON FIRE. STEPH NEVER MISSES ANYTHING AND I AM SURE HE CAUGHT THAT DISRESPECTFUL UTTERANCE FROM GREEDY RICH PAUL. GO STEPH – SHOW THEM WHAT HAPPENS WHEN PEOPLE DISS YOU.
I think the Warriors will go as far as CP3’s acceptance of the role of leader of the 2nd unit. The importance of that role is 2nd only to Steph on the team. Steph and Draymond play off each other like no other duo ever, but even that synergy isn’t enough to win a championship. Great bench play is fundamental for a team that is as small as GS. Fast tempo and smart team play are effective counters to size. In the playoffs, Jokic, AD, or Embiid will play 40+ minutes. We have to spread the floor, play 5out to neutralize those big hosses. They’ll get theirs, but if the Dubs can contain everybody else, GS has the advantage. Iggy will make the Hall of Fame playing that same role; there’s zero shame killing it in a vital role, even if it isn’t the biggest role. He’s not Rudy Gay. If he comes through, I think we make the Finals. And then, anything can happen. Not trolling Denver, they’re who we have to go through…

How about Kuminga, Moody, and Saric making the second unit much better than last year. Not to mention Trayce Jackson Davis getting rebounds and some scoring too. Steve Kerr is going to have a hard time finding playing time for all these guys. Especially if Klay and Wiggins just match their career stats.

So far- road Warriors are fun to watch. 2nd unit is looking good- if this keeps up opponents will be under pressure all 48 minutes.
