[Rubin] Asked Steve Kerr about Andrew Wiggins’ struggles offensively: “It’s been a little bit of a slow start. But his defense is the key…and the better he is defensively the more his offense will come. Not worried about Wiggs at all. It’s a slow start, he’s got a long track record.

He should be worried he’s been awful for quite a while at this point.

  2. Wiggs hasn’t been the same since he took that time off last season, before that and the championship run, he was ballinnnnn

Wiggins is back to being disinterested Wiggins

Wiggins needs to go for the dunk more often, too often he’ll miss a point blank layup when if he jumps a tad later/closer to the rim it’s an easy dunk.

  5. His poor free throw shooting is still the most aggravating thing for me

No reason to be this bad

He plays with no edge, just way too passive and disengaged most of the time

motivate the dude, but make sure everyone knows it is not up to standard

Okay, I’ll take the opposite position and say yes, I’m worried.

We are all getting a taste of what all Minnesota fans warned us about. It’s infuriating watching a player with unlimited skills squander it because of lack of interest and effort

Getting kinda worried, Wiggs was our 2nd best player in our title run. Without him, there’s no championship. The level he’s been at after those months off last season has been so low.

  11. Some of the comments here just show that many of you don’t understand the roles on the team

I didn’t watch the game. Did Wiggins guard Mitchell for any part of it or was Klay/GP on him?

As long as he’s locked in come playoffs I don’t mind some early season struggles. He started off hot last season before getting injured and went missing. Also looked solid coming back last postseason. Shot wasn’t there but definitely brought it defensively until Bron injured him. We will need BOTH Wigg’s and JK’s athleticism to deal with larger and more athletic teams. Only criticism I have is he needs to seriously work on his FTs. Always a problem every season.
