at least the Blazers were bricking shots. Far less airballs tonight.
3:16 start
Skylar Mays mega dunk was cool. There was good stuff in this game. Portland just got colder then a glacier.
It's one game with a team trying to deal with a cold bug. They'll be fine
There was no cut or easy buckets. Just kept shooting bad threes
Great job cronin; you managed to get as many draft busts as possible in 1 deal. #brogdonisscootfathr 😂
The moment Sharpe didn't lob to Ayton and instead passed out to Brogdan for 3, game seemed it was lost. A learning experience I guess. It's also frustrating watching Ayton calling for the ball and our guards not trusting the over the top entry passes to him. Get Ayton involved. Its become the Grant and Brogdan show. Like Eric said, why is this team taking 45 3s? They are one of the beat FT shooting and offensive rebounding teams, so they should be looking to get shots at the rim and draw fouls, and crash the glass. Caving the defense to then kick out for the open 3… not just pass the ball on the perimeter 4 times to see who can get the most open* 3pt shot. Lol. Why is Billups letting this happen?
Those two calls by the refs were egregious, but I agree they didn’t change the outcome (though the super long review definitely killed our momentum). What I thought really impacted the game, though, was the fact that they absolutely refused to call a single foul on JJJ. There was the moving screen, he pushed off Jerami to score on the previous possession, and two possessions later he hit Jerami on the body on a driving layup. That was just at the end of 2Q, but I remember a few more in the second half too. In addition to the extra points, him being in foul trouble would have made a huge difference, but instead he did whatever he wanted because he knew he’d get away with it. Meanwhile Toumani gets punished for playing hard because he’s a rookie. Just frustrating
Billiups made some plays for sharp..sharp didn't take em? Hmm
that was an insane collapse
I want you to talk s.. like this when they win there next game torey…we are still learning and we are young
go blazers 👍
That last 8 minutes was hard to watch
